G1 Sparkle Pony looking dull

I have a couple G1 sparkle ponies, like Sky Rocket whose body just isn’t as clear and vibrant as she used to be. I also have Star Hopper who has been in storage and her body is still pretty clear.
Do you think an oxiclean bath might bring back her luster or anybody have any other suggestions?
Not sure if you can tell from this picture but Sky Rocket’s body just seems cloudier. (I realize they aren’t the same color)

It looks like maybe she just has some surface dirt? Did you try a magic eraser?

Honestly, that might just be old age.

I wouldn’t do an Oxibath with Sky Rocket because of her hair colour. You might find it fades or bleeds.

If her head is loose, I would pop it off and give her a good scrub with dish soap (I like Dawn for ponies) inside and out. Optionally, you can try with whitening toothpaste and a soft toothbrush. The abrasiveness of the toothpaste may make a better means of cleaning.

But honestly, they both look pretty great to me.
