Singpony in Singapore Finds New Exclusive (Art/SDCC/Fair?)

Singpony (AKA Julinana Heng from the Toy Blog, also a member of the MLP Arena) has let me use her pictures to show us all a newly-discovered G3-body MLP exclusive!

She's not sure what it's meant for, but as it has MLP2011 printed on the body of the pony, collectors are saying this is probably indicative of it being a SDCC pony.

She's really pretty- an Egyptian theme with pearlized finish, and sparkly accents! Pretty!

Here's the info from singpony:

Spotted this spectacular looking gal in a Singapore dept store today, at SGD 26.90 or approx USD 21.70. The words "MLP2011" are printed on top of her hindquarters (sorry no photos on that).

I think she could be the 2011 Comic Con pony. Singapore's dept stores received the SDCC 2010 pony around this time last year too. This orange pony looks very pretty and has a pearly body surface on top of her body colors.

She's gorgeous, and has already shown up on Ebay! I went to check just for curiosities sake and yep, there she is.
 
Whoo, I gotta go rearrange the exclusives shelf to fit this one on it, because there is no way I'm not buying this!

Hey, what are we going to call her? I mean, once we figure out whether she's an Art, SDCC or Fair pony, that'll definitely help us out, but even then we sometimes nickname the ponies (such as the 2009 Fair pony was called Peacock by collectors.)

What do you think her nickname should be? Here is a website with some Egyptian goddesses listed- which one is best represented by our pony? The Goddesses of Ancient Egypt

I was going to say Ra (because it looks like she has rays of sun all over her, but he's a god, not a godess... so, you know- although maybe that doesn't matter.
 
Well, if you have an Arena ID, you can PM singpony to get one for you. She's helping everyone to try to secure one. The city store that we go to often has been raided clean, leaving 2-3 behind but they have obvious painting flaws.

I saw that too in UK Pounds. Seems like there are people cashing in on the new ponies already. The starting bids are outrageous, please do not fall for them.

Singpony calls hers Phoenix, but I call her Egyptian Explosion. She literally looks like one. lol Her hair resembles the colour of the American flag (blue and red) with crazy tinsels, and same with her symbols, a crazy spray of confetti in colours of the American flag, except she has those weird looking Egyptian eyes with glitter cheaply splattered on the eye shadow area. The only touch I like is the pearly sheen. I described her to princessluna as an "orangey yellow glory of madness". lol

WANT! But I'm still working on getting comic con 2010 and those darn art ponies =(
 
Kiiiiinda want her.... maybe... i'm not big on Egyptian themes, but i do love her colors.

We should call her "Ra" after the Egyptian Sun God, as she looks like she has sun rays on her ^^;

I bet she's for Comic Con. Pretty cool, though I have to say I'd have loved a G4 exclusive. It's interesting that they used the new logo on the box but kept the clone pose. I hope I'm lucky enough to nab one from the Hasbro site after the Con. I've been able to for the past several years.

She's pretty interesting... I bet prettier in person than in pics. I usually am so nervous Hasbro won't release them ( or they'll sell out at the Comic Con) that I break down and pay too much on ebay for one from someone who picks them up at the CC ( even though I go for the cheapest ones). This year am going to wait it out.

I'll try pick her up before San Diego Comic Con just in case they change something like they did with the 2010 SDCC pony.

I liked the 2010 turquoise haired pony MUCH more than the purple hair but didn't grab her when I had the chance. Since I only purchased at the convention, I only have the purple haired one.
 
Cool! This pony screams "FAIR" to me not SDCC. Most Fair ponies have that "MLP year" on them... comic con ponies are usually something super hero/villain-ish with no year. I guess we'll have to see. One will be in my collection regardless though! *drools*
