I may have to sell my punzie. :(
My husband cut off part of his thumb and has been off work for almost a month. We are going on one income.
I was just wondering what to going price is for her. She is in beautiful condition, I would say very close to mint.
Any input is greatly appriciated.

I am really sorry your husband was injured. Were doctors able to reattach his thumb? As far as Rapunzel, OOP and in good conditon you could get at least $300-$400. Good luck! BethyVic

Thank you for your concern! :)
They were not able to re-attatch it, but in a few months it should not affect him or his work at all.
I was thinking about that for her. I'm not sure what it would be like trying to sell her in the summer though.

I am sorry! This time of year she is down...about 300. At the prechristmas season starts she goes for twice that. Its kinda bad timing. I am sorry to hear about it ...hope he feels better.

I'm so sorry to hear about your husband! I hope the trauma won't be bad.

Thank you so much for your good thoughts. The pain has gotten a bit better. He is more just frustrated now!
I figured that would be the case for her. But $300 will still make a big difference for us. Maybe I will try eBay and put a reserve on it. If it sells good, if not I get to keep her! At least with all your guys help it will give me a good idea as to what a reasonable reserve would be.

What line of work is your husband in? I hope things get easier for both of you. I think ebay would be a good idea if you use a reserve. Good luck! BethyVic

He had the accident at home. His full time job is working in a factory that makes car parts. The line he is on makes steering housing coloums. When it happened it was the first night of a long weekend and I came home from work to an ambulance in front of my house!
He makes old fashioned shaving brushes (as well as bowls, razor handles, stands, pens etc.)out of exotic woods.
He cut it on the tabel saw. The frustrating part is he got accepted into a craft fair down town Toronto this summer and has a ton of stuff to make for it as well as his current custom orders.
I think I will try eBay, but like I said I would rather keep her. I will be trying to sell other ponies as well as customs on here and eBay as well. It just sucks that it is at a "low" time of year. Oh well, every little bit helps! :)

Oww just reading that made me tingle with pain! I hope he's feeling better, and I'm sorry you have to sell your beloved Punzie. Good luck, and I hope you make good money off her!
