Those who know me at all, know we're having a really rough time right now. It about broke my heart when a big box from Costco was delivered to our house today. Full of food! My daughter may be too picky to eat much of it, but I won't need to buy anything for myself to eat and it helps so much.
:cry::cry:
Thank goodness there are such great people in the world still.

That is super nice Tak. I have been without food myself back in the darker days of my early 20's. I remember someone bringing groceries and even my doctor had a bag of groceries for me from time to time. There are good people in the world. Hugs

How wonderful! What a lovely gesture. It reminds you there are so many good people in the world who love you and are pulling for you. I've been like you and tula, wondering where my next meal was coming from when my mom was very sick and I was trying to raise my siblings plus two little nephews. I was 17. It was so frightening. So I confided in one of my best friends from church and the next thing you know people were showing up from all over to help us. I was so grateful. People are good.

Things will get better, I just know they will.

That is wonderful I know when I lived alone and I did not have enough for some grocery before I had to put back most of the stuff a kinda person paid for it. It show there good still left in this world.
