Hi there,

I was just wondering if anyone has an idea what this item would be worth? It's a Sundance Bobblehead, made by Headbangers, new in sealed box. The box shows some wear but not too bad.

This isn't a vintage item as the box says C 2003.

Sundance herself is in pretty good condition, although the symbols aren't painted on very well (there are grooves for the outlines and the pink paint doesn't exactly follow the outlines perfectly.)

Anyone have any idea what she might be worth?

Thanks!
Amy

MIB about 13 dollars. You can buy these on Toysrus.com for about 12.99 each

I found mine on a toy site.. (I think I got the last one).. it was on clearance for $5, but it's VERY heavy and the shipping was $7. so $12-$20.

Sundance Bobblehead? I never heard of anything like that. You got pictures? :) Now I'm curious.

I found an Applejack one like that at Hastings a year or two ago. That thing is /heavy/! Not made very well either, as when I tried to brush the hair (it was all tangled right out of the box), a lot of it came right out. O.O

.

Unfortunately no pictures. It's at a flea market. Last time I was there in the spring, the price was something ridiculous like $30-35. I was there again last Sunday and now it's marked $17. It still seemed too pricey to me so I left it there. I thought about offering $10 for it, but the guy was a bit creepy so I just walked away.

the guy is being a jerk and trying to rip you off.

My box says C 2003, registered trademarks of Hasbro, inc. made by NECA .. www.necaonline.com

The price tag says $12.99..

The hair is darker pink than Sundance should have.. and the symbol is nearly red. Her mane curls around the way it should, but it's a little too short and thin. The eyes are blue but not painted evenly.. like as if they'd been done by a new customizer.

I've also seen Applejack, and heard of Bowtie. Both of which I want INSANELY bad. It's made of very heavy, thick plaster-like stuff.. the stand is cylindrical and painted like it's grass on the top, and her symbol is on both sides.

 I can't believe I totaly missed them during all my years of collecting. They are so cool =)

I hope they will show up on Ebay one day so I can get one or both =P

they're not vintage, they're recent licensed merchandise. Made in 2003 by a small company, only released to some retailers. I don't remember ever seeing these guys in big stores in the US, and it's a US-based and marketed company.

So don't feel bad =)

I *heard* about the Bowtie, but searching now I can't find one. Disappointing =/

I see a few people are looking for the Applejack one, so if anyone wants her, I can sell her to you for for $12 incl. shipping in the US, international would be $15. I don't have her box though... Pm me if interested. :D

I jumped and immediately moved to the PM button.. and then realized you don't have the box. I've left my Sundance MIB (removed twice, one of which was for those pictures last night), and I'd like Applejack the same way. =/

but thanks for the offer!

I love mine. I got her as a prize at the MI meet a few years ago. We bobbed for gummi worms in a pool of lemonade. Good times, good times.

Hmh, I didn't know that. How neat that real old MLP stuff came out in 2003. I would love to get myself those now that I know about them ;)

Thanx for the info ABrownCrayon :)
