After years of loving early ponies Ive been circling the idea of buying a few MOC. After seeing Merry Treats post with all her MOCs for sale I got to thinking maybe I could possably afford some. Im having to fight to urg to buy her Sugarberry!

How much approx. for these? Ive never owned a MOC pony...not sence about 1987 that is:(

Id love to have any of these:

(on cards, not Mail order bags)

Blossom
Cotton Candy
Firefly
Glory
Applejack
Bowtie
Starshine
Sunlight

Thanks!
Jennifer

I saw an Applejack on a BIN for about 30 Euro's, which is about $35-40. She may still be on i'll try find her.

re

Applejack for $40? Holy crap, even I can afford that!

Thanks!

I would like them to be on US cards though. Does that effect their price?

I think most of the ones you asked about are $40-60, maybe a little more for Glory.

The applejack auction is on a German card though, i don't think the card names make much of a difference TBH.

Re

i have an italian collector pose bowtie on german card which i have tried to sell so many times on here and the arena but have had so many time wasters. A number of certain people have asked me to hold her for them whilst they sorted out the money but then never paid and lost contact. I dont realy know what she is worth though.

Sorry, I don't think you will like this, But the least I have ever paid for a MOC pony is $45.
Sometimes flukes do happen though, and they go for under $30 on ebay.

But, I collect mostly for the package art, and a cheap alternative is MOC outfits! Some go for around $7 - $20 and it's almost as good as the ponies themselves and the art is just as pretty! :)

Goodluck!

Some MOC's are cheaper. I remeber seeing teeny tiny babies go for no more then 12 MOC. I got a RNB for 30.

I just paid $76.99 for my glory last month;) So $75 is usually her going rate. But then again, I only collect ponies with a clear bubble, I hate those yellowed ones, so maybe one with a tinted bubble will go for less?

I've gotten some really good deals recently though, 3 moc newborns for $10 each, moc ss buttons for $9.50! and moc sweetberry pony Raspberry Jam for $26:)

But it all depends who's after those ponies at the time

I just bought Italian collector pose Bowtie on german card. I paid 35 euros.

Gosh I hope all the MOC ponies I am selling now on ebay go for these prices...so far most are at 19 bucks.

I think the early collectors poses would be about $30-$40. I haven't seen them go for much. I paid about $20 or $30 for my MOC Cotton Candy, and she will be the cheapest to go after. I'd imagine Minty would be the most expensive of the Collectors pose set.

I am sure they will, most MOCs don't hike up in price until the very end.

I got my MOC Sherbet for $20 :D But I'd say around $40 for those would be good...you'll find a good deal once in a while though.

honestly you would be very lucky to find them for 40.00. I would expect to pay more like 65 for most of them and closer to 100 for glory. Keep a look out for them and you might find one or two for cheaper (especially the rainbow ponies), but over time the moc prices will rise from the current market lows.
