I've washed daisy Jo's tail over and over again!
Any tips on getting rid of these awful waves from plaits?
:(
No matter what I've tried has failed :(
Thanks x

Heat Elements

That is pretty easy...

Curling hair iron on setting number 2 or 3 and heavy conditioner. Test for heat tolerance a small area first before using it on the whole tail. Make sure that there is heavy condition and water on the hair. Take the hair by small sections, comb it and use the curl iron to flatten out the waves. Small amounts of hair at a time do better than trying to do the whole tail at once. Once you have ironed out the hair you rinse the conditioner out and reset curl.

@tulagirl OMG thank you lovely!
:)
I have tried everything and nothing has worked....
They are a royal pain..... I'm not found of braids in my ponies lol
I brought her not realising her tail was braided...
I shall give this ago in the morning and hopefully daisy Jo has has silky smooth tail back!
Thanks again Hun :) xxx

Make sure you test it because, I don't know how the settings are on uk irons, but make sure you do not use any iron unless it has numerical settings to choose from. A regular iron will be too hot. Also, I am talking about a hair curling iron not a clothing iron. LOL Just to make sure. @Harmony

Lol awesome Hun :) I'll make sure I'll test a bit first :) I have Curling irons so that's all good....
I'll use the lowest setting on them :)
I would never put my GHD hair straighteners on her lol my god she would be bald lol @tulagirl lol x

I have been lucky with patience and lots of hot water and conditioner with my dear pony Windsong, whose hair was a braided mess!

woudl this also work with those heat protectant sprays? or does it need to be conditioner?

@cutekitten :) I did use conditioner Hun.....
I also used my hair straighteners, they got really hot so I wrapped daisy Jo's hair in a cloth and straightened through the cloth, once all dried it was straight! :) never even thought to use heat spray?
