Firstly, what an absolutely magnificent idea, this forum! Wow, so much has happened since I was last here! Love it :D

Onwards to the pony in question.. I've moved and am more broke than ever before so I've bravely started digging into my collection and Italy Posey pose prototype appeared.

Originally she was literally thrown at me (bargain price like you wouldn't believe it) as an Argie prototype, but now that I've finally unpacked and cleaned her, an "Italy" appeared under her hoof. A smudged "Italy" but there's no doubt.

Oh well, Argie or Italy, no big deal to me (any pony is a good pony <3) except I have dog paddled my way around the interwebz and can't seem to find ANY info on Posey pose prototypes. Any. At. All.

Does anyone know of any sites including her? Does anyone own one or know about her?
Any info is greatly appreciated as she'll have to be sold as soon as she's done showering.

I'll add a picture later if needed but she has your standard, slightly off yellow proto-Argie color, a tail hole but no holes for hair and of course, no symbols or eyes.
She also came with a really, REALLY red straw hat and bunched locks of hair that are bright white and curly (seems more like Santa wig hair to me than anything, but still...).

ETA: Have compared the washed hair with regular pony hair and it seems identical. Lenght wise it fits with being a tail.

It sounds like she's one of those cream-white colored Argie ponies. Many of those came with red hats; some had tails & others had no hair at all. Oddly enough, some ponies from South America have turned up with "Italy" foot stamps. Several Colombians have that. It's assumed that the factories received their molds from the Italian factories, rather than the Hong Kong/China factories, and sometimes the stamp info was not completely removed from the mold.

Can you share a picture of her?

If she is one of the Argies, they are worth about $25-30 since they were so widely available for years on ebay. If she's something different, she will be much harder to price. :winkpony:

Hey KitKatVintage

Ah, I see. Well that does make sense in regards to buying her as an Argie in the first place. Thanks heaps for the reply.

Sure, I'll post a picture of her ASAP - I'll pop in again tomorrow when it's not 4am :satisfied:

Pics attached.

PICS! As promised :satisfied:

Sorry about the lousy quality, my camera really isn't what it used to be. Hopefully they depict her somewhat accurately.

Thanks, you've both been a great help :smilepony:
The ITALY really threw me off. Thanks for the link - yep, there's no doubt she's like those you showed.

If she doesn't have it anymore, you can search on ebay. There are none right now that I could find, but I saw one listed recently for around $25 + shipping from Argentina. Looking for Argentina ponies will usually have those listed when they are available.
