Ok, I just had to share cause I am so excited!!!
I bought my Paradise Estate three years ago, it was in an awful state, filthy and little more than a shell. I had the foru rooms, the four rooftops, (no fans) the pool, (no canopy, pillars or garden) and the patio floor. (No gates)
I have been working on it for the last three years, and I have just in the last two days managed to get it down to four items remaining till completion. I could not be more excited!!!
I managed to find the rainbow stacking toy, (still bidding on the auction) on Ebay, and from the same seller I was able to use the Buy It Now to get the cutlery pieces I was missing AND both original combs! Just gotta win that last auction.... (please please please!!!)
I ended up with two spare rooms from a bulk purchase and have just traded one for a blue dresser with decals, (mine is missing the decals) coffee table with decals, (again, mine is missing them) the three daisy flowers I was missing from the garden, the pink perfume bottle and two window awnings.
All I need now are two more awnings, (I want one for each window, it doesn't look complete to me otherwise!!!) the Paradise Estate gate sticker or a replacement gate piece with the sticker attached, and the pink blanket from the bed. That is it!
I may have a lead on one awing so that would narrow it down even more. Of course, I would like to find the instruction sheet somewhere, and I will keep looking for a box as well, but to see the estate now when I remember what it was like when I got it... Man it just makes me smile!!!
Apparantly these are VERY rare in New Zealand, mine may be the only one in the country this complete so I am pretty proud of myself!

How exciting, Sallys!! :smilepony: There are few things more satisfying than completing a set, am I right? Good luck getting your few remaining pieces, hopefully people here on the board can help. You've just reminded me that I have part of a PE shell upstairs, I'll check it and see if it has any of the bits you need.

Good luck with your search!

That would be awesome! Thank you!!!

Ohhhh congrats! My PE was a barn rescue from a member here years ago! It's amazing how clean a filthy, filthy shell can get. I'm still looking for completer pieces for it. :D

Congratulations! The extra awnings are a great idea. You're even closer than you think since there is no additional blanket for the bed. :winkpony:

If you'd like scans of the instruction sheet until you can locate a real one, they're up on the Wiki (Paradise Estate - My Little Wiki) or I can send you higher resolution copies.

Good luck finding those remaining pieces!

weird... I have been using Dream Valley to help find accessory lists and it def says that the P.E came with a blanket...

Year 4 - Pony Accessories (1985-1986)

You are not the first one to say that it didn't though. Think it's time to find a few more websites to use as guides, or just try to find the G1 collector's book!

I just won the auction for the stacking toy, and found a seller who is willing to part with one more awning, so that means I am short one more and the gate sticker... SO close!!!

I have a few bits and pieces extra that I have found on my restoration hunt, let me know if anyone has any specific needs and I will see if they are in my spares box?

Please all keep fingers crossed that the stuff I have bought and traded for all gets here ok! Nothing lost in transit please!!!

Yeah, Dream Valley is not the most reliable when it comes to the accessories - it's mostly correct but there's definitely more than one error. I try to use multiple sites and double check using MIP photos whenever I can.

Lady Twilight's site is one of the best for US accessories: Lady Twilight's My Little Pony Accessory Information and Checklists Page

This one has a close-up of the Paradise Estate box where it lists the accessories: ~.~ MLP Land ~ My Little Pony Land ~.~

These two are also good though the second is lacking on playset info:
Where the Rainbow Ends ~My Little Pony~

Ponyland Tours

and of course you can always check the Wiki: My Little Wiki

Another random P.E question, did the original set come with two sets of blue doors for the rooms as they opened out onto the patio/pool, or did it come with all four? I have managed to find four sets so all my rooms have doors, just not sure if this was standard and I can't seem to find any info on this.

Wow great job! Looks fantastic! :surprisepony:

I found the pool and two rooms the nursery and kitchen ,in a house my Oma moved into years ago. The people were evicted and left their stuff and that is what I found inside :) The have horrible yellowing. Is their a cure for that?

Hi again Sallys! Just wanted to let you know I looked through my Paradise Estate parts, and my only extras are two full room shells, some walls, the pool, floor base, and arced piece that goes over the pool. So, no small pieces, sorry! Best of luck to you! :)

MustBeJewel do you have the *entire* pool including the base? if so I would love to buy it from you, I just unpacked the shell my friend gave me and whlie it's 99% complete it's missing that AND a rooftop!

If Jewel doesn't have it, I JUST saw it on ebay. (Synchronicity city!) Search this title: MY LITTLE PONY VINTAGE PARADISE ESTATE POOL REPLACEMENT PART

Thanks so much!!! Alas, while I could afford the cost of the part, the $60 shipping would slaughter me, I'll try to be patient and wait for another one to show up when I'm a bit more flush...

:shockpony: $60 shipping???? The one I saw was only around $7 to ship (within the US, that is) Would it cost that much more to ship to Canada? Wow... Just... :cry2:

Yupo, $54.95 to ship to canada. Only $10 to ship to the US, I do have family there that I could send it to, but I'm not *that* depserate for it yet...the auction doesn't end for a long while yet anyway. Besides, $40 seems a bit steep for the part in the first place? but I'm not very famliar with playset pricing...

Oh, we must be looking at different auctions. I saw one that had a starting bid of $9.99 or so; 23 hours left (as of now). Granted, it might wind up going for more, but maybe not. I personally wouldn't pay $40 for just that, (never mind the shipping lol) but OTOH like you I'm not sure how pricing goes on that kind of playset part.
