G1 New UK member/collector.. Lots of G1 ponies wanted!!

Hi there!

I've recently joined this forum in the hope of adding some new G1 ponies to my collection! I started to collect toys from my childhood about a year and a half ago (Popples, Care Bears, Rainbow Brite, Snugglebumms, etc) and am now focussing on MLP. As of yet, I don't have very many so I am pretty much interested in everything!!

My current wishlist is as follows :

I am also registered on mlparena and Ghost of the doll. I haven't been very active on the forums yet but I have completed a few trades so far. My username on all the forums is festaiola. I also have a lot of feedback under my ebay user ID : jude791
If anyone has what I am looking for feel free to PM me. I'm happy to purchase worldwide but would particularly love to hear from people in the UK/Europe (mainly to save on postage & customs fees!)

Also, I'm not experienced in customs or restorations so would prefer ponies with no major flaws i.e. cut hair or bad stains - don't mind marks on the bottom of hooves though.

Welcome! I shall keep an eye out for your wishlist ponies for you, new ponies go up on my Etsy shop every month as I get in new bundles and go through more storage boxes of my stuff at my nan's house, so please check monthly for new arrivals that might catch your fancy. Photos are included on my listings, and they're not ridiculously priced. Also if I can find suitable packaging at work to recycle and send my ponies in rather than buying boxes at the post office, I refund the difference I normally charge for general shipping. Also, I've found trading on here rather enjoyable, so as your collection grows do create a list of ponies you have which you are willing to trade for ponies off your wishlist. It's great fun!

Thank you for the welcome!! I'm still new to this.. lol! I will definitely keep an eye on your shop. I've bought a few ponies on Ebay but I hate waiting for auctions to end and the bidding process stresses me out a bit to be honest! :confused:
 
It does me too a bit :D but its great to get a bundle of ponies cheap, so you have some you need or could upgrade on, and then a couple you could trade for, or..... take the plunge and learn to customise! You will find a lot of duplicate posts on here and on MLParena, but the networking is great! A while ago, I messaged a shop owner on Etsy asking if she could make me up a whole batch of dragonfly wings for flutters for my Storm Fury Flutter Ponies.... and then a couple of weeks ago, I asked a lady on MLParena how to put the link badge for Etsy in your sig on MLParena - lo and behold she replied going "Hi I've been working on your wings today!" and I didn't realise they were one and the same person! Crazy huh?

Anyhoo, have fun and if you need any help, just shout! I've been collecting G1's literally my entire life! xxx

Wow, you must have a lot of ponies!! Do you have a pic of your collection? I have a 'hobby' room which is badly in need of some organisation.. lol. I plan to buy some glass display cabinets and shelves soon so I can get everything tidied up :satisfied:
I just lost out on an Ebay auction for Tootsie (which I really wanted!) but, on the plus side, I managed to snag Gypsy for under £5 ! I'm shocked at the prices some of the ponies go for!!Some of them seem to vary massively! Unfortunately, due to the rubbish exchange rates at the minute, some of my wishlist might have to go on hold for a bit..:(

Hi there,
Are you preferring to sell them as a lot or would you consider selling individually? I'm in the UK so to buy any more than 2 or 3 at a time would hit me with shipping and most likely customs fees as well :(
I totally understand if you are preferring to sell them all in one go!
