Well... Please excuse the slightly blurry image.
I got two yesterday. Trixie and Potion Nova.

Can I say the hair quality on these is AMAZING?! It can easily be compared to G3.5 or early G4 hair!
Loving Trixie’s expression... She’s got a slight eye wonk, but the picture doesn’t do her justice!
My only complaint is that Potion’s eyelashes are “blurry” as a result of the screen printing. It isn’t noticeable unless you hold her up close, so if y’all are picky about things like that, maybe ordering online wouldn’t be recommended.
Oh, forgot to mention their heads pop off really easy, so maybe it’ll be common to see them headless second-hand (let’s hope not)
Thanks Whisper!Congrats on your new acquisitions Whistler.
Actually I wish they looked more like this than what they do look like. I don't like the stubby nose. I do love the feathers at their feet, that's a cute touch. My real life ponies have horsefeathers and it's adorable. And more hair/forelock would be peachy. The bushy mane the better!I love them! I have some issues with them, but I think they're refreshing and cutely stylized. I don't think this is G5, and I really hope the G5 toys are much more horsey than this, but they have a bit of charm to them, they remind me of SpaceKitchs's art.
I do think they would benefit from having more hair and a proper forelock.
Why does Rarity have seams on her inner legs?
Ohhhhhh my gosh the lack of a jaw and the mouth being right below that muzzle is just.... it looks so awkward. This type of animation is so cool but the potential is lost to that weird face anatomy.
I wonder if during the making of this someone said “uh oh guys, we goof’d turns out they do need lower jaws.”
I love the idea of this but the terrible lack of anatomy hurts my brain, especially with the elbows bending completely wrong. Also, is anyone else ever wondered for all the years of pony how in the heck do they hold things with hooves? During every generation I always wondered why no one has come up with a solution to it.
A. I remember the good old days when playsets were, you know, different every time.
B. What's up with the G4.5 eyes on G4 molds? Hasbro please stop mixing generations and sub-generations, I get confused easily. XD
I don't know, my best guess is maybe they're trying to use up old molds and designs before the full-blown end of G4? Or maybe it's just laziness. Bleh.
