Wow, it feels good to see this site again. hello to all! I used to hang out and celebrate mlp here with my fellow collectors some years back. I just got really busy with life and kinda drifted away... Its good to see that this digital space still exists. I loved posting and doing pony stuff here. But now I've drifted back to take part in the mlp universe once again. I also now have a 1 year old daughter to share the world of mlp with (who is currently climbing all over me trying to get to the computer...).

I used to go by MoonShard, but now its Korva. Greetings to all, I looking forward to sharing mlp love with you all.

Guess this was kinda vague for an intro... Don't worry I'm a real person and pony collector, not here to be creepy or fake. :winkpony:

I used to hang out here a lot some years back, but life got too busy. There are not many ( if any) mlp collectors in my area, so I always appreciated the online community. At the time I drifted away, I was busy pursuing a degree in biology, which I finished and dealing with life changes. Most of them positive. I also became a mom a year ago, so I don't get a lot of me time. But I love my daughter and being a mom is awesome (99.999999% of the time).

I been a mlp fan/collector since 1983 ish. Im an 80s kid so the G1s are my absolute favorites, but I love all the new generations. Im trying to catch up with the G4 universe and Friendship is Magic. Love it, but only seen bits of it. My mlp collection is on the smallish side, and i haven't been able to expand on it too much in recent years. But my love for it hasn't faded. I've added G4 bit and pieces, here and there. I am looking forward to collecting mlp with my daughter, if shes likes mlp. I've been slowly introducing her, she sill a but young. My aunt asked if I was going to share my mlps with my daughter, which I replied "of course", she can have the whole collection if she wants. I can just start a new one... :coolpony:

I also collect insects and various bit of nature. I have a sizable Natural History collection, insects, shells, rocks, fossils, etc. I love Science and nature. I studied biology, but love all the sciences ( Nerd Alert!) and spend time expanding my knowledge of them. My love of science extends to Sci-Fi of course. Im a HUGE science fiction fan, with Star Trek at the top of the list.

My other notable collection are my books. I love to read and acquired a small library as a result. I have a special interest in natural history books and field guides. My library also includes comic books. (Geek Alert!)

When I have time I also like to play Minecraft, Skyrim and Fallout 4 (such awesome games) and surf the net. And well collecting :fizzy:.

Sorry this is a bit long. I looked forward to catching up with the mlp universe.

Cheers!

I'm so glad you've returned to us! And being a sci fi nerd is totally delightful! Right now I'm in the process of culling through my book collection, but I keep stalling out because there's so many awesome sci fi books I've rediscovered and want to reread! And funny enough, Star Trek was the reason I was going through the paperbacks. One of my ST Facebook groups started a book club where we all read the old Bantam original ST novel series, starting with James Blish's Spock Must Die. So I pulled out 23 boxes of books in a feverish attempt to find it. I did, but it was naturally one of the last stinkin' boxes I went through. So now, here I am, sorting about 3000 paperbacks like an idiot.

I read comics as well! I'm a fan of independents and Bronze and Silver Age Marvel and DC. How about you?

Your gaming tastes are similar to my son (who just happens to be on the board as well as Action Hank). He's supposed to start a thread on video games, you two could compare notes!

Welcome back to the MLPTP! Glad you're finding more time to hang with pony friends :)
