New lying down giant plush ponies???

I was in Target the other day and saw a huge Minty and Rainbowdash plush but instead of standing up like the original giant plush ponies were, these two were lying down.
The overall body is the same design as the standing up ones, except the legs on these seem not as stiff so the ponies assume a lying down position.

I'm also wondering whether they might of just been returns after some big kid decided to take a ride on them and accidently 'squished' them.
- since neither had a tag on their ear.

Unfortunately I didn't have a camera with me, so no pics, and that Target isn't local for me.

what did the fur feel like? there are giant plushes, and then there are pillow buddies. the giant plushes have soft, thick fur while the pillow buddies have a more felt/fleece-like fur.

They may have been squished, but ones that lie down...huh...

That would actually look kinda cool! And they wouldn't need such a large box for shipping...

Were they still the $199.99? I would LOVE a huge Rainbow Dash! She is my fav of the first 6, by far!

I'd love so much to get her... No money!!

Hi

I hope they come to the US? I wonder why the US never got any giant plushies? I am sure they can see by now that they are very popular.

Hugs,

wellll

they are made in Australia...

maybe the process of shipping is cost prohibitive for Hasbro?

sure wish they had more here, and I wish they were re-inforced so the kids could sit on them!

Giant pony

Hi, They're definitely not the pillow buddies, these are definitely the large plush ponies.

The legs aren't spread out like the pillow buddies either, the legs all face forward.

I have no idea, I couldn't find a price on them.

Also, I still haven't seen them in any other Target or heard of anyone else finding them yet, so I'm still not sure whether these actually are new styles or not.
