I have tried and tried but I cant make glasses for my pony at all.
I am doing a custom of my OC Ology and she needs some red glasses with pearls on them. The pearls are on the glasses like if you took them off they would hang on her neck.

I am at my wits end on these glasses.

Can anyone make a pair for my pony and it not cost a arm and a leg.

Or I be happy to trade for it
I forgot to add
I do not have paypal so I can do MO and trade within the USA only, Sorry about forgetting that.

What kind of techniques have you tried so far? Is the main problem that they won't stay on her nose?

I have tried crafting wire frames out of green flora wire and thin craft wire and the wire will not hold my clay. I have used the doll glass you can buy with the gold stems and removed them and painted the glasses the correct color but to attaché the pearls that Ology my OC wears on her glasses like a lanyard ( can not think of what you call the strap that holds glass that goes on the sides and you can take the glasses off and they hang down).
I just can get Any kinda clay to mold for me and the wired don't work. So I am stumped as to how to make her glasses and its the only piece I need to finish my OC FS version.

As for on her nose they would have small pads made of white ticky tack so they would say as the glasses do not have stems.
they are as you see Ology wear them in my Siggy.

I could have a go at making something. I don't want to make any promises but I have a vague idea of how it could work.
[Edit] Sorry, but what does FS mean? is she a regular-sized G4 pony?

No she a large Fashion Size pony about 6 inches and that is very kind of you but I don't have paypal or anything so I really cant do any thing out of the US. But I do thank you for your help and all.

Okay, good luck. My idea was to use an oven-bake clay, rolled flat a couple of millimetres thick and cut into the shape you want. You can carefully smooth the corners with the side of your knife to avoid touching it and potentially pulling it out of shape, though if you wanted the bridge and rims slightly curved you could carefully drape it over other bits of clay or paper to shape it while it is baking. That way you won't need to bother with wire inside. I think I would make the holes for the pearls to be attached to first, but not to actually attach them until it has finished baking.

I don't know what you were planning, but I think it would be best to thread seed pearls/beads onto your wire, if it is pretty thin and bendable. If you bend it so that it looks like it is draped over her back but is really holding itself up it should help hold the glasses up and in place, or at least help take the weight off the glasses from the pearls dragging them down if that makes sense.

I am looking forward to seeing how it turns out, good luck whichever way you plan to go about it.
