need help weird pony find

Ok I am not big into g2's I have the ones sold here and a few from over seas but I dont know that much about them. I found one today who I can not identify. At first I thought she was a version of sundance. She has her sun symbol her body is a coral pink and her hair is gold. Now the weird part. Her mane is on a strip that snaps out of her head so she is bald it also has a star that snaps into her forhead and holds the hair in place. Her tail is looped around a cicle that can be pulled out of the tail hole. It is one strip of hair that is looped through the hole and then tied with a rubber band so it doesnt come of the loop. I will put a pic up later. Does anyone know what this is.
I have never seen her these colors and I have never seen one made with hair like this before. Foot says 97

I can't help you much, but all I know is that it was a pony that you could take out the hair and replace it with different colours and such. You could take out the tail too. Sort of like a Hasbro attempt at customs for little girls. :lol:

Yes, that is most-likely Sundance. The original set came with more hair and tails and accessories that you could play with to make your pony look more "beautiful"... lol. :p

Well that definetly helps I have never heard of that and can't find any info do you know where that was released. I thought I bought all of them released in the US when they came out and I got her at a flea market today so I cant figure out where she came from.

Maybe in Europe? I've never heard of her being sold in the US, and Europe has always been known for selling many G2s that have not been released in the US. G2s are much more loved in Europe, it seems. :p

But hey - I'm Canadian so I don't know this for sure. :p Can anyone else help verify this for us?

thanks everyone. She is really pretty with the gold hair like mine has. I am glad that is the color she ended up with. I really thought I had found something weird. Now I am just trying to figure out how she ended up at a US flea market. It's kind of cool that I found a european pony here that is a first for me.
