I looked on a few threads for Price Checks, but most of them are over a year old. Thought I would do one. I have looked up the MLP and gotten their year and name. A couple I am not sure what their year are. Majority are in pretty good condition, hair may need combing though. Should I do that before selling? Will that make a difference on pricing?

Honestly, eBay is your best friend when looking to price out ponies. Ponies will always sell better if you (at the very least) wipe down and brush out their hair. Lastly - patience. Sometimes you just need to be patient with ponies as they tend to sell in waves as demand changes especially with G3.

Good luck!! :)

I have checked on some of them there. I didnt know if anyone knew of highly demanded ones that I should hold on to, etc.

I'm gonna be the bringer of bad news and say that most of the ponies you have are not sought after. Snow'el I and October Dreams are ones that strike me as the ones that will only go up in value (Holiday ponies are sought after as a rule, and the jewel birthday ponies are actually very sought after!). Island Delight as well because she is a pegasus, I don't believe Lily Lightly is particularly wanted? I could be wrong. G3 ponies haven't had the time to mature as a collectors item like the G1 ponies have.
Surf Star, Alphabittle, and Waterfire all have potential to go up, but I believe there are more than enough Waterfires to go around.
Who is Dibble Slippers? Do you mean Dance Slippers?

I'm going to echo this, unfortunately, as most "main characters" (Sunny Daze, Scootaloo, Sweetiebelle, Cheerilee, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie) are very common and can be difficult to sell. The market on G3's is generally a little low at the moment, but I'll tell you what I would sell them for if they were mine to sell in excellent condition. I actually will be selling several of these at a meet in 2 weeks:

2008 Cheerilee - Core Friends - with hat (Item# 68864) $3
2007 Pinkie Pie VIII - no hat (Item# 63807) $2
2007 Rainbow Swirl III - can sit $4
2005 Rainbow Swirl II $3
2003 Butterscotch $3
2004 Snow'el I $5
2006 Cupcake II $5
2004 Scooter Sprite (no teal scooter, have a pink one though) - will make different if not teal one? Should I even put it with pink scooter? You can offer her with the substitute scooter but most collectors will want the original/proper color. $3 without scooter, $7 with scooter.
2005 Island Delight - Limited Edition $5
2008 Sweetie Belle - strolling along $3
2005 Alphabittle (Item# 60908) $5
2003 Tink-a-tink-a-too $3
2005 Ribbon Wishes (Item# 60481) $4
2005 Waterfire (Item# 60471) $4
2006 Rarity the Unicorn $4
? - Dibble Slippers Dance Slippers? $6
2005 Candy Apple (Item# 23447) $4
2005 Honolu-loo 2 of them $4 each
? - October Dreams (Toys R Us Exclusiver on pony & location) $12-15
2004 Triple Treat & Celebration Salon Loose with all parts: $20, mint in box $30
2005 Surf Star (shows that set was sold with Honolu-too & Waterfire) $5
2003 Minty (Item# 55415) (shows that set was sold with Triple Treat & Celebration Salon) $5
2003 Fluttershy (Item# 55416) 2 of them - 1 has cutie on right side, 1 has cutie on the left side $3 each
2005 Flippity Flop (Item# 60476) $4
? - Toola Roold #1 II $3
? - Dance Around $6 (put her with Dance Slippers, they're a "sisters" set)
2006 Star Surprise (Item# 62345) $4
2004 Flutterbutter $4
2006 Lily Lightly If she works, $8-10

Guess it suppose to be Dance Slippers! The site I was using to find out their names had Dibble Slippers...thought that was a weird name (see attachment)! Couldnt find it in Google so figured something was wrong!

How long do they take to mature on average?

Does having the special salon with them make their value better?

Thank you for your reply. This help me a lot. I will have a couple kids work on coming their hair and cleaning them up. :)

And you mean to sell them on ebay for those prices correct?

How long do they take to mature?

We just found about 8-10 more ponies that actual was a McDonald's 2009 (probably Happy Meal) ones...probably sell them as a bundle.

Those are the prices I would ask if the ponies were in perfect or near-perfect condition, like this:
Sweetberry_10.jpg

No marks, no haircuts, no paint rubs, soft silky clean hair (that's one of my old sales photos)

As has been said though, G3 prices are really down right now, and you may not get those prices--it's very hard to set prices on a fluctuating market, it just depends on who wants your pony at that moment ;)

As far as "maturing" it may still be another 10 years before there is any significant demand for them, it's impossible to predict. They may be worth a lot of money then, or they may be worth almost nothing. There's no way to tell. ;)

Any McDonald's ponies from 2003 onward you may be able to get $0.25 a piece for, I usually donate mine. :)
