I bought a NBBE Baby Ribbon on ebay that had no tail a few weeks ago. After she arrived she sat on my desk for two weeks before I was able to find a tail replacement. Last weekend at an antique show my pony man had some ponies including a a baby surprise. The pony was yellowed, but her hair was silky soft, and her tail still had its original curl. It was the perfect replacement tail for Baby Ribbon. Poor Baby Ribbon had LOTS of rust and general yucky-ness inside of her, but now she looks just great!
If it wasn't for the nibbling to her horn tip, I think she would be near mint.
