The other day, while shopping for some miscellaneous cords and such in the Electronics section at Target? I was lucky enough to happen upon the "Stranger Things" Applejack amidst the back-wall section of collectibles! I was surprised, too, there were LOTS of em available (must have been a recently stocked shipment!) so, I was just more than happy to add one of those upside down doppelgangers to my cart!

But my luck didn't even end there.

In the Clearance section, between the Toy isles and Electronics? I happened upon the Pretty Parlor set too-- where Peachy, the poor girl! Was being marked down, to only $13! So, naturally of course I had to liberate her immediately as well!

...Unfortunately though, my shelves aren't at present the best lit places in the house for taking pictures.

So, I thought to take them outside for some fresh air out on the back porch!

Peachy's bangs were a bit unruly when I unboxed her, and turned out to be quite the devil-and-a-half to deal with before the photo shoot. But, I think they look wonderful and I could not be more pleased with them both! :satisfied:

Congratulation! That's a very nice price for a Pretty Pallor :)
This is probably the first time I see 35th Ann. Peachy on unnoficial photo, she looks wonderful!

Those photos are gorgeous!! Such a perfect background for some beautiful ponies!

Ooooooo.... Congratulations on you fabulous finds!!! Both girls look so beautiful unboxed. I haven’t free’d either of mine yet.

I agree with @Leave a Whisper the first pony you get of a gen will always hold a special place in your heart.

My first G1 was NSS Shady when I was little. (My first G1 as an adult collector was a Sundance I found thrifting.) My first G2 was Clever Clover. <3 She’s actually my favourite G2 pony ironically enough. My first (and only store purchased) G3 was Sunny Daze when G3 was first introduced. Then I decided I wasn’t a huge fan of G3’s myself. My first G4 was Twilight Sparkle and Spike in the balloon set waaaaaay back from the very first wave. I love all four of these ponies and will probably never part with any of them (except the G3, I gave her to a friend’s daughter). These specific girls will always hole a no. 1 spot in my heart.

Such cute first choices. Getting the first of a gen you don't have is special.

I absolutely agree with the both of you. This was a tremendously special milestone in my collection and I just love, love love these two to death! :satisfied:

I still remember my first-ever pony, was a G4 Rainbow Dash, in that ride-along set where she had a scooter and visor for accessorizes (which... I still need to find since I didn't pack so well when I moved several months back), along with her pet turtle Tank. And my first G3's-- from just earlier this year! Were of course, my often-mentioned Abra-ca-dabra-- and Pumpkin Tart, who followed close behind her. <3

IKR? :lolpony: ..I'm pleased to know my Peachy's the first to get this kind of exposure, then! Her parlor also looks awfully nice too, but the particular shade of 'blue' that it's in didn't seem to be well represented by my iPhone camera-- it really downplayed the coloration for some reason, and the filters were a bit tough to juggle when Peachy herself is a much more strikingly vibrant hue already.

Those photos are gorgeous!! Such a perfect background for some beautiful ponies!

Omg, thank you! I was actually a bit nervous that my phone camera wouldn't be able to do them justice, but with a few filters just to balance out the lighting and such I think they came out pretty nice, myself!
