My "pony room"

I was talking about my pony room today, and decided I should post some pics! I call it my "pony room" in quotations like that, because it's not exactly the way I want it. We are renting currently, so I can't do shelves as I would like. And I have two dogs, one a beagle that has a penchant for plastic, so everything is either enclosed or up high. But, it's still my little pony sanctuary nonetheless.

ooooh you have the birthday giftpack MIB! I would love to have that in my collection some day!

You seem very organized! I guess if you think about it, it's probaly safer for your ponies to be in those drawers rather than on shelves. I used to have shelves all over my room but my grandma kept telling me that they're going to get ruined by dust sticking to them. So I opted for a display case from Ikea.
 
What a gorgeous pony room! Wish I could have something like that! :D

On the more likely note: Your collection is GORGEOUS i mean WOW, i knew you had like every sea pony in existance but danm! thats awesome!

Absolutely amazing! Those Sea Ponies are fantastic! WOW!

And I'm most impressed with the MIB Princess Primrose. Wow-ee.

I cannot wait until hubby and I buy a house! I have total plans of doing MOC wallpaper Delaney-style. :) See the four drawer section that is two from the wall in the first pic? The one that has the MIB Dream Beauty on top? All four of those drawers are filled with MOC/MIB ponies, the ones that I don't have room for elsewhere. I think there's about 70-80 in there, mostly baby sea ponies and pony wear. Definitely enough to make into wallpaper!

So I guess my dream pony room would include one wall of solid MOCs, and one wall of solid shelves to display loose ponies. The other two walls would probably include a day bed with my pony sheets and plushies on it, and my computer desk. :) Someday!

Can't be heaven because we can't take ponies with us. But its a nice display. Though Its funny to see the ponies through theplastic containers... "let meeee outtt" *knock knock* Heeelp!
 
I love it =) You got such an amazing collection!
At least you can have your ponies up and showing. Mine are all stuffed away in baskets =( Hopefully I will move out soon and get some space to put them up ;)

So you should be happy with your little pony place ;) It's very nice and you can look at them whenever you want to.

You almost made want to collect MOC/MIB ponies. I especially love those Sea Ponies. I wish my ponies were so organized. Oh well, maybe someday :p
 
Wow... :shock: I like your pony room, but most I like your Sea Ponies. How could you collect so much of them? It takes me two years to find four of the adult ones and you have them ALL MIB!!! Congratulations!!!

ginaiam - hehe, that's they way I always think about the poor things. But then I remember it's better than letting the beagle get at them. :shock:

Arwen - honestly, a lot of it was a willingness to pay large sums of money when needed. The rest of it was the fact that the other major collector of sea ponies got out of the business, so to speak, and I was able to buy her MIB/MOC collection from her in it's entirety. So it was my years of collecting added to her years of collecting. :)

To everyone else who made the comments about it being organized, wow, I honestly never thought about it that way! :) I guess it is, particularly considering that the drawers are done by year of release. As much as I would love for it to be different, I have to say thanks for opening my eyes to the fact that it's pretty nice the way it is! :D
 
I love it it's beautiful. I love what you did and how you displayed your ponies. :D
