Lately I've really been back into drawing horses. I am trying to get away from more simple, boring poses and really challenge myself with more interesting ones. I am also working on improving my shading. So here's my latest dabbles into pencil drawings, ha ha.

Thanks for looking!

Very good Derpy, horses can be tough! Have you ever tried a shading pencil? I forget what kind of material its made out of but its soft and lets you smudge/shade.
I used to draw all the time before I got sick and arthritis took over my hands, I miss it.

I have never even heard of a shading pencil! I usually just use a 2B, seeing as I have a million left over from my school years... I'll look into getting one and trying it out!

I wish I had stuff left over, I had 4 siblings so everything was always used up. When I draw I use German pencils and these to shade in the attached picture.

Your drawings are great and they can only get better!

Oh those! I think my sister might have some. I'll ask her to check her art supplies. :)

You are genuinely blessed with this beautiful art. It was really nice and beautiful pencil art work. Your attempt for horse painting was considerable and just wishes to see some more of your graphics.
