Well, that at least PROVES to her that I DID mail it out! :? Stupid customs/international dealings. :evil: I've also had issues with mailing a money order to Brazil? was it? for BKC before, and it never got to the person. So I had to do a stop on the money order for her. I've also mailed a registered letter to Argentina before (a money order), and it never got there, so i had to put a stop on the money order, and I ended up using Money gram to send the money to that seller. ....Maybe what my postmaster told me about mail being stolen in South America really is true. I never questioned why my South American mail wasn't getting delivered till just now. :?
 
No sign of my pressie from my other partner either. She hasn't even contacted me to say if shes received mine. You would think that would be a catalyst for her making contact.

ABrownCrayon, if you get yours from her will you let me know?

At least that makes me hopeful that mine will make it to you, as well! :D That one I sent to Italy did finally make it. Woo hoo! I think he got it two days ago. :)

Well, all I can say about the SA mail is that PT had asked me before to only send priority/registered because of her trouble with her mail being stolen, or at the very least, MISPLACED. That was why I asked her for the swap if we still needed to go that route, but she said she hadn't had trouble lately.

Are all the SA postal people thinking drugs are in the packages? I mean, really! What other reason would you have for stealing something that says "toy horse" on the customs label?

At least a couple more have gotten their gifts! I'm still hoping for the rest of you guys.
 
I don't know squirtsquirt, it's all odd to me. As I said, I've even had letters not get delivered down there. Luckily, when I sent it registered, the US postal service was able to tell me that it did leave the US. Anyhow...I don't know. It's all odd to me too why someone would steal a package labeled "plastic toy horse" unless MLPs are a hot commodity down there! ROFL

I still haven't heard head nor tail from Peppermint Truly, have you Darklys? I see her on here once in awhile, but she never responds to let me know if she's gotten anything, gifts or info from that post office. I am sorta nervous, as she asked us to send to her friend. Ya never know how people can be. I just hope her trust in that friend hasn't been compromised. Maybe I'm just too "not trusting" of people anymore. I'd be all over that friend like white on rice asking everyday, "where's my ponies??!!" ROFL :lol: But she says she trusts him, so I have to also. I guess it's the postal service I'm not trusting atm.

Can we ever? :shock: Seriously, I've heard some horror stories from that postal worker hubby of mine about how mail is treated, lost, torn, etc. :shock:

I emailed tiki shortly after you emailed me snyfez, asking her to let you know what was going on. She replied right back to me, and said the pony she got for you wasn't as great as the seller claimed her to be. She didn't say anything else other than that. So I emailed her right back, and told her should still please contact you to let you know what was up. Have you not heard from her yet? :?
 
maybe she's just embarassed, and trying to find a better one. I can vouch that she's a good seller, and a nice person, but I've never been in a trade with her before.

I forgot to post that i recieved my presents from Tiki a couple weeks ago. So all mine were recieved. :D
 
yeah, not sure what's up- i pm'd her on this board and the arena- it's been about 3 weeks since she said she got the pony in. I just want to know what is going on so I know when/if to expect the parcel.
 
I was looking for something else to send. The MINT pony i got was not as mint as described. Since she is more on the upper end of out price range, i only got her and didnt want to just send one less then perdect pony :(
