@tulagirl I remember when "Santa" visited my kid at her preschool and he asked her where her mom was. She pointed to me and he asked if I wanted to sit on his lap in front of all those kids and their parents...I was mortified and he didn't ask any other moms.

Creepy Claus: What would you like for Christmas young lady?

Me: A can of mace in your face.

Lol

The charity bin was so sad. It was empty except for one lonely Care Bear plushie! The store guy told us no one is donating.

I must get more toys for that bin.

Here's Funshine with what we took...

And the bin...

A bare bottom. Unacceptable! I'm raiding my toys.

I really, really, really want Hank to sit on Santa's lap and ask him to kiss a Pony. I WANT IT DESPERATELY.

Santa's beard is fake, but hank's is the real deal!

See what I mean, these guys that do this sort of thing are just plain creepy and ervy. Man you should market that. Canned Santa Mace. Have you ever noticed that rearranging the words in Santa give you Satan. Baaaaaa

I'm a little disappointed that target didn't have the "Walking Pinkie Pie", I wanted to put that in the bin... It looks like it'd be so fun for a little kid. And they were all out of the playsets I was considering too! Well I'm glad some kids are getting them at least I guess. lol I just decided for around the same price I could get some playskool ponies and a cute little moxie doll, though now I worry her hair may be ruined before she gets to a kid, they don't have plastic coverings for some silly reason! My parent honestly had a lot of angry words about taking me to donate today even though they said they would.. And I didn't even tell them about the photo part. lol They refused to go into toys r us and then wouldn't take me to the wal-mart that was just down the way. Then ofc we had to go find a bin somewhere else, which makes their refusal to go to toys r us in the first place rather silly, as that is where I THOUGHT they'd have a box? So ofc, ended up we had to go over there for me to drop it off anyway, and then they didn't have a box! Thankfully I thought of going into Babys r us where they had it for some reason, even though less people will be going in there?
GG people who could actually approach a maybe-busy stranger at work and ask to take their picture! I honestly was so worn out from doing just that I had to come home and take an hour nap! :lolpony: (I mean I've also had a migraine for a few days too which didn't help lol)

(Heres a (not my)photo of the doll I got because I didn't manage to get most of her in my photo and clearly I need to make this post longer and more awkward. Mine had a different dress tho? Idk same girl but I can't find one of that dress.)

Why did some one throw a empty battery package away in the toy donation thing in Medley09's picture?

A lot of the donation boxes in the pictures look like no one is donating stuff besides the people doing the pictures.

Yea, this is true. People are not donating. If everyone could donate just one toy imagine the result. I have found a Santa. On to step two.

The employee we got to do Action Hank's picture was scared the manager would catch him away from his post and yell at him, but did it anyway because he was so nice! We made sure not to get his face in the pic just case it got seen and got him in trouble. Isn't it sad people are treated so bad at work?

I'm sorry your parents were being stinkers, Repeat. sadly the holidays sometimes stress people out and bring the beast forth in them!

@tulagirl If only each person would indeed donate just one toy. Imagine how wonderful it would be! We'd be so much better off as a society if we all just pitched in a little.

Maybe people just donated so much all ready that they had to come pick up the toys so they're would be room for more? (I wrote me at first lol)
The boxes seems awful small this year, didn't they use to use big blue boxes or something? Maybe I'm thinking of something else tho.. There were also a lot less places around here to drop off too which was really weird? I don't know why none of our targets or walmarts or dollar stores have had them, they always do.

I am so proud of myself that I braved through my anxiety to get a photo with the Mall Santa. I was so nervous in line but once I got up to the front and told them what I wanted to do I was fine. "Santa's Helpers" Thought it was cool that I brought a Gen 1 Pony. Although, Santa was a little embarrassed to kiss the pony, he still was nice enough to do it for me. This was super fun and now I have 2 high quality prints to remember this adventure from!

Erm :/ I wasn't allowed to sit on Santas knee!!!!
So I opted for my lovely daughter who was soooo eager to dress up as Santa!
She loves joining in on the Fun! And helps mummy out soooo much!
She made a super cute Santa and also it's a picture for the family photo wall :)
Xxx

I love this forum. Everyone is so creative and fun. I found out today that my friend works at a business where a Santa actually came out today and was under water in the tank with the fish. I was thinking, "oh man had I known that I would have sent my sea pony along for a photo." lol I always find out about these things after they are over but in all fairness to my friend, they are in a crisis of sorts.

Hi guys! This is just for fun as I couldn't go out due to being ill off school, but here is a picture of a pony with Santa (but not a real life santa) I missed the deadline since I had to go to the shop straight after school and I got home at 3:20 (10 mins before deadline) and completely forgot :p
