Here is a thread to post your wishlist of favourite Ponies for your wishlist partner to use.

Let's see what we can cook up!​

Make sure to note name and generation, so your partner can make just the right ornament for you! If you have an OC, we'll need any pics and specifics, so we'll get them picture perfect. Feel free to add as many Ponies to your list as you wish. The more your partner has to choose from, the more creative they can get.

I already have soooo many ideas!​

Also, since there is a $5-7 limit on extras, you might want to add a list of candies and such you enjoy, so your partner can perchance send you something yummy! If you like small items like stickers and stationary, please let us know. It will help your partner make everything more personal.

My favorite ponies are almost any G1 TAF, esp Nightglider; Big Brothers Tex and Chief; Mt Boys Fireball, Tornado, and Ice Crystal; Baby Nightsong (white one-- i know there is some confusion, so figured best to specify), Moon Dancer, Bluebell, Snowdrop
G2s--Prince Firefly, Princess Silver Swirl
G3-- Water Fire, Minty, Midnight Dreams, Star Catcher, Star Song
Not so big on G3.5 EVER, or g4 at the moment, so that's about all for now!

But, quite honestly, any homemade ornament no matter what pony it is, will be so awesome.

no food allergies, but I do have a seriously bad case of " it's there-itis" so go easy on the sweeties please (that being said, Skor bars and Symphony bars always sing to me from the shelves .)

OCs: My only real OC is my ponysona, Fauna Quillstone. She has a sandy brown/dark tan body, Fluttershy-like hair that is largely emerald green with seafoam green and neon purple highlights. Here is the best example I have to use for her. Keep in mind this was made in a doll maker, so I had set colors to choose from. The only thing that needs fixed is more dark green and brighter purple:



Really, I like white ponies with wildly colored manes and other 'tropical' looking colors. Which is most everyone.

Other goodies: No allergies, and Kit Kats are a huge favorite! I also really like any kind of stationary--I leave lots of notes pretty much everywhere possible.

I love chocolate! Milk chocolate is awesome, but dark chocolate is great too. I like nuts or fruit in chocolate too- my favorite being almonds and coconut. I also like chili spice in dark chocolate. I think weird ethnic candies/snacks are awesome. I had Chinese banana flavored cheeto like puffs once and they were actually amazingly tasty. So yeah- any weird thing you find would be fine by me! Homemade things are great too. I like fudge and cookies or candies. Really I like just about everything except black licorice and wintergreen.

As far as candy goes, I'm pretty easy! Dark chocolate, milk chocolate, chocolate with stuff in it like nuts etc. I don't have any allergies, so just no bl;ack licorice for me. I also love homemade goodies; cookies etc.
I also like little crafty things for extras. Stickers, pretty paper, bits of yarn. I'm always looking to add to my stash

I love milk chocolate and gummies! But I don't like sour gummies or really anything sour. Other than that I like most other candy even black licorice. I also love reindeer a lot!

Well of course Gingerbread is my favorite pony but all the G1s have a special place in my heart especially Cherries Jubilee and Baby Crumpet and any of the TAF ponies. My grail pony was the Argentina Christmas pony, I LOVE her as well as Stockings and Baby Stockings. Honestly I'd be happy with anything, so long as it's G1. I love anything Christmas themed, so this swap is perfect! Christmas is my fav holiday!!!
As far as snacks go, I like just about anything. If I get an international partner, I love foreign treats. The only things I don't like are licorice, marzipan or gummy things. You're usually safe with anything chocolate I like being surprised and I'm easy to please, I'll be happy with anything!

OC: Level Up

She is a unicorn, I just get lazy and don't put her horn in at times. You don't have to put that much black in her hair, just a few streaks between the other two colours. Her cutie mark is like this, but with colourful buttons and outlines:

Sweets
Candy is always appreciated for the few seconds before it disappears.

I obviously love chocolate, especially milk chocolate, but I also enjoy white on occasion. Favourite brand is Cadbury, I will literally eat anything if it's Cadbury. But I'd also love some Hershey's, as we don't get anything by them in South Africa except for the few things that are distributed by Nestle and Cadbury outside the USA.

I love anything with biscuit, wafer, puffed rice, hazelnut praline, and soft toffee/caramel. Especially if it has more than one of the above in it. I also like Turkish Delight, it was a favourite of my grandmother and it always makes me think of her. And I like coconut, desiccated or otherwise. I have never had chocolate with peanut butter in it.

I'm not allergic to anything that I know of, except possibly artificial sweetener.

What not to get:
- No hard sweets (bark/brittle, jawbreakers, etc.) and nothing overly chewy (harder toffees, bubblegum), as my teeth are made of glass and my dentist advised me against it, but I can do hard boiled sweets as they melt in the mouth.
- No black licorice, no nougat, no sours.

Other
I love pretty things, and I'm obsessed with shiny objects. That's why Christmas is my favourite holiday – shiny baubles, twinkly lights, sparkly tinsel, pretty wrapping paper... I'm crazy for it.

- I am obsessed with stationery, especially fancy paper, hardcover notebooks, coloured pencils, gel ink pens and markers. I inherited that obsession from my mom.
- I adore plushies, figurines and miniatures. Especially if they're cats, bunnies, teddies/pandas, fantasy (dragons and angels in particular), or even tiny food.
- I'm crazy for knee-high socks! I didn't get to participate in the sock swap, so if you find anything cute lying around, I will definitely wear them into oblivion.
- I like jewellery, especially necklaces and bracelets (please note that I don't have pierced ears), and I have very long hair, so I can use any type of hair accessories.
- I drink a lot of coffee and hot chocolate, so I'm always in need of a clean mug.
- I also like candles (scented or otherwise) and bubble bath.

Not really a specific style, I just like things that are pretty or unique. To be honest, most of the stuff found in walmart, ect I find very...UGLY. I like more old school decorations

Let's see here.... My favorite ponies include: G1 TEs and TAFs. G1 Sparkler was a favorite as a kid, and Tex. My "army" pony is G1 Moondancer and Baby Moondancer. I also love Applejack. Oh, and I do have a personal pony, Thimble-Bright Sew-Bottom (she's a Hobbit pony, lol). You can see her in my sig. I am happy to provide larger images of her through PM, but I don't want to clog up the thread with that.

I would like to mention to my partner, that while I have a few favorite ponies, I would be very interested in an ornament with any kind of "made up" custom Christmas themed pony. Go to town with a winter theme, or Christmas colors. Something festive that will stand out against the green of a Christmas tree. Don't feel you have to re-create a Hasbro pony for me. I would love something completely original that is Christmasy inspired.

Christmas is my favorite holiday!!!

Favorite colors: most shades of purple, emerald green, and blues. Christmas colors: red and green, I LOVE vintage/retro feeling Christmas stuff (1940s, '50s, and '60s). So those traditional colors are always great. I like ice blue/white stuff that looks snowy or icy. (I sometimes will put only blue lights on my tree and use pretty blue ribbon as a garland.)

I LOVE snowflakes and snowmen! I also really love old fashioned Santa and St. Nicholas stuff.

Other stuff... I like to sew, and cross-stitch. I am obsessed with Christmas themed rubber stamps (my husband will tell you I have too many). I teach dance, mostly ballet right now. I love Christmas socks!

Goodies: I love chocolate, dark and milk. I love coffee, all kinds and flavors (no decaf please). And I really love home-baked goodies. To me, Christmas means cookie baking!! I am very open to try almost anything, but please steer clear of things that are super crunchy or super chewy (my dentist doesn't like those....)

Flavors/things I can't stand: spearmint (but I LOVE peppermint), gum of any kind, super strong black licorice.

I love stickers, I don't care much for stationary, I can't wear socks, I love classic heavy metal and socal punk, I love Sonic, and I love anything retro and girly like Jem, Sailor Moon, and Barbie.

Oh and one very important thing! I love seeing what people can create. Don't be afraid to go outside the box and get wild with it. If you want to go for weird, surreal, traditional, fancy - I can dig anything

Anyway, I just got back from checking out the ornament craft isle at my local Michaels and I have a couple questions:

• What is everyone's favorite colors for their Christmas Tree decorations?
• Do you have a specific style of decoration for your tree (rustic, girly/lacy, vintage, angel themed, metallic, candy etc...) or is your tree really eclectic?
• Do you have a Christmas Tree just for your ponies/pony room?

I used to have a tree for my pony room- I mean I still do but it's in storage as we are living in an apartment currently so we will just have one tree. I don't have a specific theme for the family tree, though the decorations tend toward the rustic spectrum with lots of natural ornaments, pinecone and acorn glass ornaments and homemade ornaments. It also has all the ornaments from my husband's childhood so there are a lot of dinosaurs on it LOL. My pony tree is candy/girly themed. It's so cute! I wish I had taken a picture of it when I had it up last year. I'd love to see anyone's christmas trees if they have pictures to post.

Firstly, I should let you know that I've always had a plastic tree. This is because a) pine trees are messy, they shed everywhere and goo up the decorations; and b) we don't have a garden to keep a pine tree in, and we can't just go out and buy a real tree every year in my country like you do in parts of the USA.

I used to have a very traditional red/gold Christmas tree when I was little. I still like that type of thing, but my adult decorating tastes have changed to more modern-looking with unusual (i.e. not traditional/festive) colours and ornaments. Blue and purple are my two favourite colours, and I also love silver and black. I love multi-coloured lights and always use them; I do think white lights are really pretty, but I think they only work properly on a white plastic or baby pine tree with minimalist decorations. I like to use bead chains, ribbon and bows, and a little bit of tinsel. I love baubles, musical instruments and wrapped gift boxes the most, followed by bells, stars, old keys, pine cones and tiny figurines like teddy bears, angels and rocking horses. I am also a huge geek, though. If I had access to them, my tree would be filled with MLP, Doctor Who, cartoon/anime, fantasy, Disney and video game ornaments.

I'll upload a photo of my tree when I can, my old Christmas photos are on my PC back at my house. I haven't had a full-sized tree up in the house for years (not since we've had cats, because you know how well those things mix). Instead I've trimmed a miniature plastic tree in the lights and baubles from the old tree and put it up on my computer every year. It's the perfect size to be a pony Christmas tree... if you don't take into account how over-sized the decorations are in that case.

It's really my mum's tree but we usually go with gold/red ornaments that are shiny. She also really digs feathers.
Our new tree is silver, another thing is that unless the ornament is really classy I don't think she'll let me put it on the tree for an extended period of time lol.

Aha! A wishlist a wishlist, I must make a wishlist.

You know really I'm a pretty simple bunny. I'm not picky at all and I love pretty much everything I'm given! It is cute? I'll love it! Is it brightly coloured? Perfect! Shiny and distracting? My god, it's like you're looking into my soul! I LOVE THESE THINGS!

As for candy yummers, I'm not a super candy eater, but I do like to nibble. I like Smarties and such and hard candies and choccies. I only dislike butterscotch and licorice really. But if you send them to me, I have a kid. I can pawn it off on him. He'll feel special.

Now when it comes to Ponies, I am so easily pleased. I love every darn one of them. Yep. Beddy Bye Eyed monsters, huge headed 3.5s, I LOVE THEM. I will not be unhappy with any Pony you decide on. Now I do fancy some over others, tis true. I love all incarnations of Minty. I love Princess Luna and Celestia. I adore Derpy (we have something in common. You know what it is... GRACE!) I am huge on blue Ponies or lovely turquoise beauties like WaterFire. No matter whatcha do, you can't go wrong! make me a special unique Pony of your own imagining!

Candy Dislikes:

Let me be honest with yeah! I plainly love candy!!! There is piece of candy I will not eat, but sadly there are some candies I can just yack on!

Black licorice, Snickers bars, Milky Ways, Baby Ruths, Hard Peppermint candies ( Believe me! I'm not much for stronger favored peppermint candies, like the disks, Candy canes, and Life savors Peppermints but I do love the softer puffs/ sticks because there usually lighter on the favor! ), Coffee favored candies ( I do not like coffee at all, that also means the candy too >_< ), Waxy, Cheap, and Foreign Chocolate ( To be honest I'm not much for Chocolate, but I'll eat Hershey's and Russell Stovers chocolates), Spicy Gum Drops, Original Jelly beans, Original Life Savors.


Items are a YES! I love anything with horses (especially Breyer Horses ), wolves, unicorns, Pegasus, Dragons (as long as they are realistic! ) Dinosaurs (The same as long as they are realistic! ) Snow Leopards, Sea Horses, Killer Whales/ Whales/ Dolphins, just to name a few....If your going to get Christmas items Rustic and Nature related are liked :3, Candles ( Love pumpkin spice, Cinnamon and other spice scents, all apple scents.... ), Incenses ( Sandalwood, Dragons Blood, Vanilla, Frankincense and Myrrh smells good even though it may come as separate incenses: Cones and Sticks are fine ) , Scented Oils ( Sandalwood, Apple and Cinnamon, Cinnamon and Nutmeg, Cinnamon, Exotic Sandalwood, and other spice scents...) If you want to buy ornaments to add as a item, Reindeer, Natural/ Rustic- looking Ornaments, Anything Horses are liked :3 , Native American stuff are also like ( Being a Cherokee Indian doesn't help either ).
