I need a bit of help, you guys. You see, there's someone that I've been pestering to allow for a 'past pony generations appreciation day' on their site, but this person seems to think that there's not enough (relatively new) content being generation for the past gens in order to compile it all and stretch it out across 24 hours of the day. I'm out to prove that person wrong- unfortunately, I don't know the majority of where past gen fans tend to post their fanart, such as art, fanfics, crafts, ect. (aside from Fimfiction, and Deviantart)

can you guys help me compile some fanworks?

also, discuss- is this a crazy idea?

Tealeaf from the Arena here, if it's about EQD I think there's a bit of a divide there. A lot of older gen fans aren't very fond of the site/it's fanbase (which I'm sure you know), so it's not that likely that anyone would be willing to produce content or share their current content on there. It's possible that the current fanbase wouldn't be a huge fan of having a day about the gen of pony they aren't there for.
Tumblr may be worth a shot, I know there's a few artists on there that draw older-gen stuff.
I haven't seen lots of older gen fanfics, so I don't doubt that would be an issue if we're trying to get a mass amount of content. I've got one in the works but I don't want to rush it nor am I a huge fan of that site.

who said anything about EQD? I didn't.....
I've already scoured Tumblr, actually and got a lot of good things to add to the list. Primarily g1 and g3 art. It's a bit more difficult looking for g2 things that are more current (like in the past year). And past gen fanfics of any sort (or YT videos that aren't bashing them)

I'm unfortunately burnt out on the arena, too. I, personally, would look into the Facebook groups to see if any multi-generational collectors, would be interested. There's, mlp collectors, mlp and others for sale. Just search for mlp and there are many groups.
 
Dude hit up Facebook/Instagram there's constantly new art being posted for all generations (except g2, I don't see art of it much)

And of course deviantArt

I get both bronies and old gen collectors buying my art still
 
Definitely try Facebook, most people seem to have migrated there. And maybe Tumblr? I dunno... I only come here now.

Although I like the Arena, people are nice enough there, I just get lost. I can't do more than a few forums in my life: this, a horror forum and the Dixonverse (comic forum).
 
I dont really use facebook no idea what the deal is with it. Though to each their own. I do see pony people over at the area more but I agree on the too many forums get lost stuff.. Honestly Ive just been very busy. I admit ive also been on my new tablet alot oh no. I had to pry myself away from it. I could read all day long.
