I can personally say this is a pony I greatly anticipated! Because Hasbro can do some epic trolling, I wasn't holding my breath they'd make her/so soon.

I can see my worrying was pointless. Hopefully we'll see her around Christmas?

No they aren't going to do G1 reboots. They lost the trademark, except for Applejack and Spike.

Lauren Faust said that back when the new series was first announced on her DeviantArt. She said the only two she could bring back from G1 were AJ and Spike because Hasbro lost the copyrights of the other G1 characters.
