christmas_medley_by_lightningsilver_mana-d9jo3ko.jpg

Pony base is custom engineered from two different generation 3 ponies- body of a unicorn, head of a different open-mouthed pose. Wings are severed from a generation 4 princess pony.

Entire pony base is coated in Gesso for the paint to bond to.

Full body repaint in a custom blend of aqua and pale neutral green acrylic paints.

Eyes are painted in Medley’s blueberry muffin iris color, but given expression in my realism/fusion rainbow style. A few rhinestones embellish.

Cutie mark is layered in medium, dark, metallic, and glitter pigments of greens. Embellished in red, clear and blue rhinestones. All paint work sealed in Artists Varnish.

Mane and tail are rooted in nylon mlp hair in the color lucky clover.

Added snowflake, flowers and other various rhinestone embellishments along the wing bases and mane. Painted a green bead with white stripes, and tied green ribbon through it to make it look like a candy, and took a large green square bead and tied red ribbon through it to make it look like a large present, stitched it into the hair ribbon as a Christmas accessory. Took 2 blue square beads and tied ribbons through them to make them look like presents also and attached them underneath the wing bases. Made a few strings of festive-colored beads on floral wire and pinned them into the mane.

Added two “#” sharp earrings along her mane to compliment her musical note cutiemarks!

Bells added in mane and under wing as well.

Accessories were kept pretty simple and straight forward which kept costs down on this design, so she has a layered a necklace of which I strung silver beads and Christmas light bulbs on floral wire, then attached silver ornament and gold star ornaments underneath.

Did simple hind leg warmer, by taking cerulean blue bias tape, teal maxi piping, neutral medium pink bias tape and stitching them together then tucking a line of neon green faux fur to finish.

This fur I got from back in my beginner days~ tucked a small tuft of the fur in the mane to finish it off.

:cc::rudolph::eek:rnamentgreen:Also pictured is a custom I did of U.S. Gingerbread, yes there is a deal! Take both versions of Gingerbread- U.S. and International variant designs for $45.00 each~:snowflake::CJ:

argentina_gingerbread_by_lightningsilver_mana-d9kxgwu.jpg

For this custom, I decided to take some creative liberty. I noticed there were two different types of Argie Gingy with different colored manes. One had a deeper red stripe in mane, other had bright flaming firebird red. One had the yellow stripe, one had a hint of green in the yellow stripe. So I used both reds for the red stripe, and a greenish yellow for the yellow stripe.

The pony appeared to have pale pink or washed-out colored eyes that appeared white in one photo, so I decided to make them white with pink shadow/lashes but in the U.S. Twinkle Eye method.

Argie Gingerbread is a unicorn while the U.S. Gingerbread is a earth pony~

So for the pony base, I custom engineered a pose from two different generation 3 ponies- body of a orange glitter pony, and head of a unicorn. Carved out the irises/pupils of the original eyes, glued some white leather inside the head and set the Twinkle Eyes in with Jeweler’s glue after painting.

Entire pony coated in Gesso to give the paint a texture to bond to. Full body repaint with a base of pale gray acrylics, then several delicate fully dried layers of white.

Eye lashes and shadows painted in my own style, cutie mark also hand-painted by me.

All paint work sealed in Artists Varnish.

Mane and tail rooted in synthetic hair:

Red stripe- candy apple and firebird red nylon dollyhair

Yellow stripe- mojito monofiber RetrodollsUS hair

Blue stripe- waternixie nylon dollyhair

Attire- started with the bodice. Cut from a red cotton fabric with white berries printed on it. Lined with seafoam green pompoms along the hem, white bow at the middle, golden hearts down the middle. Front chest piece was stitched from the same material, but lined with white bias tape along the hems, the same golden heart beads down the middle with a pale yellow star button at the top with light green bow. Glass pink bead necklace at the top with light green bows at each end.

Gave the bodice sleeves of cream-lace, with tiny tufts of faux white fur layered over top.

Leg warmers- hind legs are cut from a dark green floral wide ribbon with silver lace stitched along the top and light brown bias tape hemmed along the bottom, light green bows stitched in place to finish.

Front leg warmers- Started with cutting the pieces from a pink cotton sash, stitched candy cane ribbon towards the tops, then stitched strings of beads at tops and bottoms embellishing with darker green bows, rhinestones and paper gingerbread men on one leg.

Mane- Starting off point was some retro antique pink flower beads I got off a necklace that was in a pack of Mardi Gras beads at my local swapmeet. (felt like a real treasure find!)

So I planned out the vision around those, making strings of beads with them on floral wire in festive Christmas-themed colors. Added one to the tail.

Balanced out the look with a few ribbon bows in the hair, and a few shiny strings of ornaments.

Gave her a pony tail with a long yellow ribbon, wired some more of the antique retro orb beads with other varied beads,.

Giant green Christmas bulb in hair I got off a cupcake topper. I bought a box of Christmas cupcakes to keep the toppers, and run them through my dishwasher so I can use them on custom ponies.

It is glued in place.

Rhinestones embellished along forehead~

Added another paper gingerbread man to the bow to finish.

sweet_stuff_by_lightningsilver_mana-d9lbirj.jpg

One of the last customs of my Christmas series, generation 1 My Little Pony named Sweet Stuffed, crafted as a generation 3 figure in a Christmas theme.

Cause when I think of gum drops, I think of Christmas a bit~

Pony base is a generation 3 shy pose. Coated the pony in Gesso to make a texture for paint work to bond to~

Full body repaint job in light powder blue acrylics. Gauged original iris/pupils out of pony and filled holes with jeweler’s glue with twinkle eyes over them. Lashes/shadow painted in my realism/fusion rainbow style.

Cutie marks hand-painted by me also, added a few layers of glitter acrylics to make them stand out more. I also feel that gum drops should be sparkly/powdery.

All painte work sealed in Artists Varnish.

Mane and tail rooted in nylon mlp hair in the colors Wisteria, heartthrob, brilliant pussycat, and white chocolate. Added a ribbon bow to the tail in attempt to match original Sweet Stuff.

Accessories- Started off painting striped beads, set them aside to dry. And made candy canes from red/white twisted hemp cord, set those aside to dry too.

Started with the neck piece, pleated ruffles from a silky cream/gold star fabric with pale seafoam green layer of fabric, then a silver tinsel trim over top. Attached a string of silver ornaments across the front, a red Christmas flower in the middle with two strands of silver beads poking out from one side, strung on floral wire.

Attached a pale green bow with 2 candy canes on one side.

Leg warmers- did a loose pleat of sheer white material with gold strips on it, then hemmed the top with chartreuse bias tape then stitched gold star ornaments to finish. Added just 2 silver rhinestones to one side.

Hind legs, started with a very wide wire gold Christmas flower print ribbon, lined the bottoms with the seafoam green fabric and meshed the two textiles together with the silver tinsel trim. Finished with candy canes and green metallic cord tied in a bow.

Mane- started off attaching the candy beads I made. At the front is a 3-D cutiemark I kept off of a g3 Minty and just kept the cutiemark trinket around for such a purpose as detailing this Sweet Stuff custom. Painted the pink stripes red.

Added large green star rhinestones, sheer and metallic purple scarf material, seafoam green pom pom trim, more metallic green cord bow, the last candy cane I crafted, a third string of silver beads with a pink glass bead at top, and various rhinestones along the forehead and mane scalp line.

That’s all, folks! Buy her~
You know you want to~

Next to the last Christmas/winter-themed customs of my personal project (a few commissioned Christmas customs may be surfacing)~

winter_themed_sparkler_by_lightningsilver_mana-d9lxv7q.jpg

Pony base is an engineered pose from two different generation 3 ponies- body of a walking pose with a ukelele cutiemark, and head of a different more common place standing pose. Horn is from a generation 4 Princess pony, and is pinned in place then securely glued in place with Jeweler’s glue and Krazy glue, then a hemp cord is wrapped around the base and painted over, then sealed.

Coated entire pony in Gesso to give the paint work a texture to bond to.

Full body repaint in powder blue acrylics, eyes painted in my realism/fusion rainbow style in Sparkler’s dark purple color but with neon purple to make it pop.

Cutiemark also hand-painted, all paint work sealed in Artists Varnish.

Mane and tail are rooted in nylon mlp hair in the color wisteria, then sugarberry for the stripe.

Kept the outfit simple. Started with a white bodice, a nice white fabric with frost print, lined it with silver trim, glued a blue diamond square at the tail base.

Dyed some faux fur powder blue back in my beginner days of customizing, have some scraps of it around still that I used on all 4 of her legs, stitched some metallic silver/blue elastic trim at the tops.

Used a larger silver trim for the shoulder straps of the bodice, then did a 2-layer necklace of blue stars with glass blue drops, then turquoise crystals on the top layer.

Made a few strands of neon and festive-colored plastic beads on floral wire to embellish the mane, pinned them in place, glued down 4 plastic snow flake rhinestones then pinned 3 ribbon sashes in the mane to finish.

loz_link_s_awakening_custom_figure_set_by_lightningsilver_mana-d9mrjfi.jpg

Started this project off with a glass candle jar as the base for the mountain. Cut some slabs of leather, folded them over the edges of the jar and tucked them inside and glued everything in place with jeweler’s glue. Got out a fake craft egg, painted pink splotches all over it in cream, lemon chiffon, and various pink acrylics. Glued it in place with jeweler’s glue.

Got out some faux leafs and plants, glued them around the mountain. Prepped beadwork by stringing it on floral wire, various fruits, shells and flower beads, stitched them onto the mountail. Used some real seashells, and some plastic rhinestones for rupees.

Windfish- cut some general shapes from white and black leather, punched holes with a leather puncher for stitching and hand-stitched the beast. Painted acrylic details, inset some rhinestone studs on the tips of the fins, then glued on rest of rhinestone detail.

Link- pony base is a generation 3 rearing pose McDonald’s Star Catcher. Body coated in Gesso, full body repaint in flesh tone acrylics, painted the tail to match the hair in golden browns and gold, eyes painted in a few pigments of blues and browns, sleeves and boots painted on in brown acrylics. Brown suede used on top of boots, hand-stitched tunic from green fabric with gold flecks. Tied a black belt with a buckle on it around the wait, stitched hat from same shimmery green fabric, with mustard yellow velvet for the brim.

Mane is DollPlanet’s Midas Touch nylon hair.

Marin- pony base is a sitting pose on a grass hill, I think from a shampoo bottle.

Made my own incision on the neck line since there wasn’t one to begin with so I could get the old hair out. Coated entire figure in Gesso, then painted the body in flesh tone acrylics. Tail painted in coral red and bright dark orange to match the hair color, eyes painted in a few shades of blues and browns, all paint work sealed in Artists Varnish.

Took some red floral flowers and stitched white hemp and some light brown cord on them then glued beads at the enes, added one to her hair, one on the grass hill and the rest on the mountain.Mane is rooted in nylon mlp dollyhair in the colors watermelon martini and tigerlily.

Custom blend left over from a old Oerba Dia Vanille custom pony project.

Glued rhinestones, seashells and beads on the grass hill, harp is crafted from brown leather with floral wire for the strings.

Dress is hand-stitched from a pale blue cotton fabric, pale yellow bias tape lining the train and neck with darker blue bias tape detailing the train and sleeves with yellow inca gold acrylic paint detail. Necklace is a red diamond rhinestone with thick black thread.

adventurer_hero_zelda_by_lightningsilver_mana-d9o1bu3.jpg

So this concept, is my idea if Zelda were to need to be the one doing the rescuing~
Pretty much spliced some of her dress styles with Link’s tunic from the series. Utilized different details from different games, then when transferring the concept to custom pony figure, I did a lot of my own readjustments that would work best for the pony figure, a lot of improvising I pulled out of my head.

Who knows, maybe Zelda needed to ditch the dress, take over a mission to keep Link from running off from Midna? xD

The possibilities are endless~

This is also prone further confusion among not actual Zelda fans who think that Link’s name is Zelda already xD

Well…

And for the record, this concept is purely fan-made. Though there are similar concepts that exist in the Zelda Phillips CD-i series where the Princess adventures in a tunic-like-outfit and wields a sword, and of course there’s the new game coming out with a “female Link” named Linkle.

I actually got the idea to make this custom sparking, after I watched the CD-I Zelda games be played, on YouTube.

Pony base is a generation 3 pose that had a 3-D cutiemark.

Entire pony coated in Gesso to give paint a texture to bond to, body painted in flesh tone acrylics but in a coral hue that has more of a peach to it.

Eyes also hand-painted, in realism/anime-fusion style, all paint work sealed in Artists Varnish. Original ears are under hat but I wasn’t happy with that so I made leather elf “Hylian” ears, painted them the body color then attached them. Made her an earring in left ear.

Mane and tail rooted in 6 different pigments of hair. The wavy hair is wig hair I bought from a store, the darker golden blonde is Midas Touch from Doll Planet, Dollyhair nylon mlp hair in the colors Peaches & Cream, Passionfruit and lemondrop, then RetrodollUS’s Jonquil pale yellow.

Had to do quite a bit of styling to give the hair style a shape.

Tied leather in her ponytail and stitched blue and red beads in it.

Outfit- started with boots and gloves. Boots stitched from brown suede, mauve hemp cord bows attached and brown rhinestones.

Gloves stitched from a white fabric with a nice shimmery texture printed on, then a simple band of gold leather strips with rhinestones glued on front.

Tunic- started with sleeves. Used a shimmery pale pink fabric, stitched wide white bias tape then lined a hem of powder blue maxi piping. Used a cotton pink sash along the back of the neck, and for the belly. Made a cross stich of the mauve hemp cord at the front for detail, put a detail of blue ribbon then made a broach from gold vinyl and various rhinestones. Fastened gold spikes along the chest both sides.

Did the skirt of the tunic next, used the same shimmery pale pink fabric, stitched wide powder blue bias tape down the middle, lined both sides with thinner white bias tape and detailed it in red and yellow acrylic paint. Did a cross stitch detail down one side of the mauve hemp cord.

Made her belt from a strip of brown leather, stitched silver beads on it, and a gold heart bead.

On the other side I made a long fringe of light brown leather suede strips, attached silver bead with a purple gem in the middle. Made another purple tassel from wide purple bias tape, made a gold fringe from gold vinyl stitched along the bottom, with pale pink and blue ribbons detailing then a silver hoop at the top with a blue bead in the middle. Made a pouch from the same purple bias tape, stitched it around the belt then embellished it in various purple rhinestone detail. Took paple purple ribbon and made her a string of “red beads” by glueing tiny metallic red rhinestones on it.

Added gold and purple drop beads along the bottom of the tunic skirt.

Crafted her a Master Sword cause the figure was not complete with one.

Double-layered silver vinyl, gave it sturdiness with thick wire then used a dowel for the handle, attached a beads with wire at the end of the handle, wrapped wire around it then added blue leather for the detail of the hilt then a triangle rhinestone I painted gold, then did acrylic paint detail on the blade and hilt. Painted entire handle in pthalo blue acrylics.

Hat- stitched from the same shimmery white printed material that matches the gloves. Lined the brim with the wide powder blue bias tape, then wide pink silk ribbon, painted Triforce on a large gold circle rhinestone and attached it to the front, and made her a tiara from the gold leather, with gold metallic dots detailing then a gold oval piece with a red gem in the middle to finish.

No trades~ trades make me broke so I can’t afford to craft x.x

watery_chorus_lightning_ferron_by_lightningsilver_mana-d9owkbs.jpg

I’m starting a series of customs of Lightning Ferron as seen in the Play Station 3 game Final Fantasy Lightning Returns, in all of my favorite outfits. There will be about 5 customs, all in this smaller generation 4 Princess mold for the pony base. I matched weapon/shield accessories that are my favorite or I felt would just match best, and I picked out multiple adornments per design even though in game you can only equip 1. I figured I’m hand-crafting these, might as well go all out~

I have a bit of a reasoning with my decision for the details of this design.

The outfit is called “Watery Chorus”. It makes me think of a waterfall with lots of flowers and blooms around it, in a forest clearing. So for the adornments, I chose the horn, and the teal butterfly, and also added the pink blossom on the chest. I came up with my own adornments, such as the mushroom on her belt and 3 additional flowers in her hair around the butterfly.

For the weapon and shield, Final Fantasy X is a very water-based game so I chose Tidus’s sword and Yuna’s shield from that game, that also appear in Final Fantasy Lightning Returns.

Tidus is the warrior of water, and and Yuna is a summoner that dances on water.

Now on to craft details~

Pony base is a generation 4 smaller princess pose. Severed original horn off, probably put it on a different generation 3 custom.

Coated the whole pony in Gesso, to give my paint work a texture to bond to.

Full body repaint in mocha tone acrylics, eyes painted in my anime/realism-fusion style. Horn is crafted from leather, I cut it then stitched it, painted in various light browns, tans and gold and sealed in Artists Varnish. All paint is sealed.

Mane and tail- to prep for a project of 5 Lightning customs, I got out all of my packages of pink hair. I ended up with 9 packages, ended up using 8 pigments on this first Watery Chorus custom.

The pigments are all nylon dollyhair mlp hair in the following colors:
Old bubble gum, strawberry mousse, sugarlessgum pink saran Barbie hair, dusty rose, kitten, ***** cat, brilliant ***** cat, and tea rose.

I didn’t need to use all of that, but I did. I call it depth.

Mane permanently styled/hardened in my hair gel method, butterfly is purchased from Michaels, there is a blue fabric flower, bead, and aqua earring from a g1 Sweet Heart Sister pony with silver metal and a red sequin attached.

Watery Chorus outfit- started with the hindleg shoes. Painted the Princess armor purple, glued down purple hemp cord, silver metal ovals, tiny blue triangle rhinestones, and some cream thread on one leg with black chain and red beads attached.

Front legs were painted white on the bottoms then made long white gloves. Silver details on each side were delicately pieced together with pliers, floral wire and tiny silver beads.

Yuna’s shield on one leg was crafted from all leather, that I cut, shaped, and painted.

Stitched white bias tape around the neck, put blue ribbon down the middle then cut shiny purple material for the bikini, detailed it in white acrylic paint, and did more white details from the bias tape and some white ribbon.

Took some purple nylon material and dyed it with blue Rit Dye. Took some neutral navy blue bias tape, painted white detail around the edges, then attached vibrant blue feather. Used white ribbon for the straps, stitched square metallic beads on the straps, and glued cog wheels and clock parts on her belt that I got from breaking a watch. Pink bag on other side of belt was crafted from white leather, then I drew out the pink scales on pink vinyl, painted it, and stuck it on because it had a peel-off back. Added silver rhinestone for a button.

Made her last belt from aqua ribbon, detailed with a silver wire buckle shaped by me and tiny silver rhinestones.

FFX Tidus’s Brotherhood sword-

I crafted this sword some years ago also, but wanted to make this one smaller and thicker.

Cut the shape of the sword from thick black leather, then two layers of thin silver faux vinyl. Sandwiched those pieces together, then painted the blade in various shades of blues; metallics, neon and glitter. Added silver, gray and pearl pigments.

Piece on top of blade was cut from gray leather, then painted and detailed in gold rhinestones.

Handle is a dowel I painted yellow then wrapped beige hemp cord around. Wrapped 2 pieces of black leather at hilt and handle, embellished in rhinestones.

Tassel- stitched wide red ribbon, then added orange bias tape at the bottom with a line of yellow ribbon. Stitched green hemp cord and tied silver beads at the ends then stitched tiny portions of blue ribbon to finish.

Red chocobo- crafted from a generation 4 blind-bag-sized Rainbow Dash. I boiled her so I could cut her tail off. Success!

I then painted her in red acrylics, with a few other various red pigments of metallic and neon on the mane, black eyes.

Cut her chocobo feet from black leather, punched holes in the leather for the gray leather talons, poled talons through the holes then attached to legs of pony. Glued red feathers for tail and on the mane to finish.

winter_valentine_sundance_by_lightningsilver_mana-d9pnbnr.jpg

Pony base is an engineered pose from two different white generation 3 ponies, matched to resemble the original Sundance generation 1 pose.

Body color is all original, no full body repaint this time, which reduced the price and time for this sale by a bit.

Started off painting the cutie marks on both sides, the hears are cloth hearts I cut off of a trim lace. Painted eyes by hand also, in Sundance’s original colors but in my rainbow/fusion style.

Didn’t seal any paint this time.

Mane and tail are rooted in dollyhair’s nylon mlp hair in the color tea rose. The rooting process was really fast and straight forward on this one, got both paint and hair done in one day.

Hand-stitched leg accessories and choker.

Started with aqua lace on hind legs, stitched some white lace to the bottoms, more of the fabric heart trim along the tops, then a string of buttons and beads along the middle. Front legs- started with a white pleated lace trim, stitched neutral pink ribbon in the middle then sequin flowers with a string of beads.

Choker- repeated the pleated white trim used on the front leg, with the same pink fabric hearts from the cutie mark and hindlegs then fastened a pink chain necklace with gold drop pendant, over top.

Made strings of Valentine-themed beads on floral wire, and pinned them into mane and tail.

Tied the hair into a loose ponytail, finished off the design by embellishing rhinestones all over the head, choker and tail. Used pink gummybear earrings on the front of the mane.

Legend of Zelda Shadow Link

----SOLD----!!!!

transparent_custom_loz_shadow_link_by_lightningsilver_mana-d9qvmhm.jpg

Shadow Link as seen in the Nintendo 64 video game Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time, in the water temple

Pony base is a transparent generation 4 Princess Celestia with the fluid and confetti inside.

I left the body whole since I realized he’d be in full outfit and only the mid-legs would be exposed.

Was able to detach head easy enough and it’s made from a workable plastic that is different from the rest of the hard plastic body.

Painted the eyes to give Shadow Link expression, made them pop with metallic red and purple rhinestones then a red gem rhinestone.

Painted hooves black, sealed face and hoof paint work. Bottoms of hooves are signed.

Mane and tail are rooted in gray Restoredoll hair, saran Silver Bullet Dollyhair Barbie hair, and nylon mlp dollyhair in the colors raincloud, stormy sky and moonlight.

Bangs styled in my hair gel method.

Glued black bias tape and silk ribbon with a strip of brown ribbon for the gauntlets and boots.

Hand-stitched entire black tunic from a faux brown reptile skin vinyl that I inverted and used the black inside for outside the tuinic. Used a strip of gold eyelet trim for his tunic belt.

Hat is hand-stitched from black velvet with thick black bias tape stitched for the brim.

3 tiny navy blue triangle rhinestones forming a small triforce on front of brim to finish.

Made transparent elf ears from plastic pony packaging, that poke through the hat and into the mane.

Sword and shield are crafted from thick black leather with layered of transparent plastic painted on the insides with shades of black and metallic acrylics.

Sword handle is various black beads wired together with floral wire then black hemp wrapped around. Navy blue rhinestones detail to finish.

moogle_accessorized_deja_vu_lightning_by_lightningsilver_mana-d9s8a62.jpg

I’m doing a project of 5 custom ponies where she is in a different alternate outfit from the game with custom accessories.

This outfit she’s in is called the “Déjà vu”. My favorite accessory with this from the game is the purple moogle wings, and since this is a physical custom figure I added the rest of the moogle accessories from the game- the blue bobble, and the moogle doll companion that’s perched on her shoulder in game. Only I put it on the tail of this custom.

This outfit was not easy to craft. Very challenging to fit a high level of detail on a smaller pony, this pony base is one of the smaller Princess ponies from the generation 4 line.

Coated the pony in a base coat of Gesso as usual to give acrylics a foundation to bond to, then gave her a full body repaint job in khaki acrylics.

Eyes painted in my realism/anime fusion style, tried to match the eyes to the Water Chorus custom I did but they ended up similar, yet different.

Painted her “fingerless gloves” on her front hooves, painted the armor on the hind legs pink for the pink sandals.

All paint work sealed in Artists Varnish.

Mane and tail are rooted in 6 shades of pink dollyhair:

Sugarless gum pink saran Barbie hair

Nylon mlp hair in the shades called old bubblegum, strawberry mousse, heartthrob, tea rose and brilliant ***** cat.

Hair permanently styled/hardened in my hair gel method.

Outfit- started with the pink sandals on hind legs. Cut the main piece from a shiny thin pink faux vinyl that has a peel-off back that makes it sticky. I then spent a really long time cutting thin pink strips of suede leather and getting them to attach.

Glued white feathers to the tips of the tops of the sandal boots, tied black thread with a red bead on both legs for her ankle bracelets, then painted square rhinestones gold and glued them in place for the buckle details.

Cut strips of medium pink hemp cord to create the woven square undermesh garment over her flanks, then stitched a pale cotton fabric piece for the undershirt.

Stitched pink sleeves from a medium light neutral fabric and added white hemp cord and white ribbon on it to detail. Stitched white cuffs and arm straps from white bias tape. Made a collar piece from the same neutral pink material, detailed it with white ribbon, attached rectangles of white bias tape on the shoulders. Did a under layer on the neck of lavender bias tape, then cut the thick neck collar piece from white leather and fastened a strip of white leather fringe along the top.

White shoulder armor piece of very delicately cut strips of white leather pieces together. A strip of the faux pink vinyl fastened across the front with purple rhinestones detailing.

Purple layered flaps- squares are cut from faux silver vinyl then folded over, fastened together then painted in purple acrylics. Attached to rounded pieces of white bias tape. Double-layered belt under belly from white ribbon with shaped silver wire for the buckles.

Stitched coat flaps on flanks with oval slits in the centers. Fastened a strip of wide white ribbon for the white strap detail, painted a emblem on back of white neck collar with pink acrylics, then stitched a back piece with a white belt with buckles shaped from the thick silver wire, and belt loop detail from the thin strips of pink suede leather. Two tiny white flaps cut from white leather attached at top of back piece with thiny silver painted buckles.

Moogle accessories- wings are cut from a dyed purple leather, and painted in acrylics. Has thick wire support and is attached to outfit.

Blue bobble on forehead is thick silver wire I shaped to keep a blue plastic diamond bead in place.

Moogle doll was originally a white bunny from a generation 4 Fluttershy toy probably.

Cut its ears and tail off, and Acetoned the eyes off. But it wasn’t blind for long, until I painted the black moogle slitted eyes then a coral red oval nose.

Crafted it smaller scale wings same way I did the wings on the pony, made it moogle ears from leather, made a purple bobble same method as blue bobble on pony, and glued down faux white fur in place on the head, chest and tail.

Time staff is a painted toothpick with a piece of jewelry I crafted wire on then painted over, and gave it a tiny purple moogle bobble bead wire on, and painted a clock face on white leather then attached.

Sword is crafted from a piece of thick white leather, that I painted aqua then sandwiched two layers of transparent plastic on both sides, then dripped large drops of Tacky glue and let it dry completely, then painted over it in watery-colored acrylics.

For the hilt I started with the gold metal hoop and cut the silver parts from faux silver vinyl and painted white leather, then painted the black details on and glued the metal loop details on. Handle is a wooden dowel I painted black.
Sword has a “display side” and a “underneath” side.

Hand-crafted by me- character custom pony figure named Mira from the video game Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a Dark Lord
final_fantasy_cc_mira_by_lightningsilver_mana-d9slk17.jpg

After a discussion with Nichi, she pointed out new game characters of selkies, so I decided to make a new project of about 8-12 Selkie/hybrid character customs from the newer Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles games, and I may redo the original female selkie clan from the first Crystal Chronicles game.

These characters haven’t been really popular when I’ve done them in the past, but I keep revisiting them because they’re my main artistic source of inspiration, they’re just a piece of my heart. I even learned piano music from the game and play River Bell Path all the time on the piano and even won a talent show with it~

Craft details- pony figure started out as a hard maned/tail Twilight Sparkle from the first line of hard-haired ponies that came out. Well I hard boiled these ponies and carved the hard manes/tails off so I can replace it with synthetic hair.

Coated entire figure in gesso to give acrylic paints a texture to bond to, then full body repaint job in mocha-colored acrylics. I reshaped the eyes and painted them in my anime/realism-fusion style. All paint sealed in Artists Varnish.

Mane and tail rooted in nylon mlp hair I cut off of other generation 3 ponies in my bait box. Did a subtle brushing of my hair gel method.

Outfit, I started off by cutting out the heart details from faux gold vinyl and painted on its detail in acrylics.

Sandal soles are thick black leather, then I cut the triangular textile from white bias tape, detailed in powder blue rhinestones.

Stitched beads on brown ribbon for the anklets and bracelet on front left hoof.

Hand-stitched a 2-layer pleated skirt from a scarf fabric, and hemmed it with white lace trim. Made skirt belt from a neutral navy blue bias tape, stitched white hemp cord X-detail then stitched black hemp cord along the hems, stitched a tiny black hemp bow to the heart then stitched heart onto the belt.

Made bikini top from same pink scarf material, stitched navy blue bias tape triangles I cut then lined it with the black hemp. Made a tiny blue tied ribbon detail on front.

Added the winged/crowned heart emblem to the hair and 2 dyed pink feathers to finish.

Crystal Chronicles is my main inspirational influence for everything art and music~

final_fantasy_cc_selkie_dancer_by_lightningsilver_mana-d9t6969.jpg

I’ve always been intrigued by the dancer Selkie design, but never got around to crafting her back in my beginner customizing days, about 10 years ago. Probably a good thing cause she wouldn’t have been done justice. Though the other Selkie NPC customs I made back then are among my most cherished so the love is still there.

Pony base is a generation 4 hard-haired mold of which I had to hard boil and slice the hard mane and tail off to customize this~

Prepped the entire figure in Gesso to give paint work a texture to bond to, then gave her full body repaint in mocha flesh tone acrylics. Eyes painted in my anime-fusion style. Also painted black sleeves and legging shorts on her, all paint work sealed in Artists Varnish.

Mane and tail rooted in dollyhair blends, I hand-blended each individual plug as I rooted them, so I mixed lucky clover with medium gray nickel, then light gray raincloud (those 3 are all nylon) blended with saran Barbie Mint ice hair. Mane permanently styled/hardened in my hair gel method.

Has gold vinyl accessories I made and metallic lace on the back of her head.

Outfit- started with the sandals. Tied black hemp cord and ribbon around her legs/hooves and soles are thick black leather. Hand-crafted textiles for the front, from mauve cotton fabric with beige bias tape I cut triangles on then glued down, then detailed the edges in cream acrylic paint, lined bottom hem with brown hemp cord and cut cream colored ribbon for fringe along the bottom. Made a larger piece of textile in this same fashion that matches on the skirt.

Skirt- pleated a purple stripe cotton fabric, with a brown bias tape belt I put cream hemp cord with a hemp ribbon with teal beads, then a painted feather with metal bits.

Brown ribbon and purple bias tape stitched for front leg sleeves.

Tube top is hand-stitched from raspberry-colored striped cotton fabric.

Tambourine bracelets are double-layered stripes of faux gold vinyl stitched together, then a string of turquoise and gold-colored beads on floral wire over top.

fierce_deity_link_custom_pony_by_lightningsilver_mana-d9u02s8.jpg

Pony base is a generation 4 Talking Princess Celestia, probably one of the tallest, biggest figures in the generation 4 line of toys. With a hard plastic figure like this I would normally like to dissect it with a screw driver, but…. If there are any screw holes on this figure, they were covered with more hard plastic.

Cutting the neck apart was rather dangerous, so I did it very slowly and carefully and severed it only enough for me to be able to pull out the original hair plugs, insert more in then stuff Tacky glue inside the scalp after the re-hair process.

I removed the batteries and kept them, and ripped off the wings and tried to clip away wire parts the best I could, with wire cutters and pliers.

Coated entire figure in Gesso, to give the acrylic paint a base to bond to. Full body repaint in pthalo blue acrylics, head is a different color of antique white. Original ears are still on the head but under the hat, and I made the Hylian elf ears out of leather, painted it in antique white and sealed it in Artists Varnish.

I also painted his eyes and face paint in acrylics. Eyes have matte, metallic pearl, silver glitter and glow in the dark paint pigments on it. I also added glow in the dark over the face make up markings.

Cut off original Celestia horn, and made a blade horn like I sculpted on one of the first Fierce Deity Link customs I did back in 2007. I took faux silver vinyl and painted it in various depths of grays, blues, greens and metallic acrylics then sandwiched it between 2 layers of transparent plastic I cut from My Little Pony packaging.

Made a horn base from a strip of gray leather, and beige hemp cord.

Mane and tail are rooted in about 90% of DollPlanet hair. I used one pigment of Dollyhair, pale pink nylon mlp hair in the color Oyster.

DollPlanet colors are nylon White Fang, and a custom blend of Silver Lining and Soylent Green nylon hair.

Hair styled in my hair gel method.

Took a solid day for the hair style to dry, and for me to keep applying layers to style it but it’s worth the effort. It usually takes me extra time to style hair but the patience pays off.

For the outfit, I started with the boots. Both boots and gauntlets are crafted from top quality authentic oil tanned boot leather.

The main boot color and the over flaps at the tops are cut and stitched from the oil tan boot leather. Punched holes with leather hole puncher in order to stitch. Soles are also a nice gray oil tanned boot leather. Gray ribbon trim line the soles, then wide brown bias tape. A strip of brown leather used for the buckles, I punched holes in the strip and made the gold buckles from thick gold wire and shaped it onto the leather strips.

Punched holes in the charcoal black and deep navy blue oil tanned boot leather for the gauntlets and stitched the pieces together then stitched stripes of dyed red leather to finish gauntlets.

For tunic, I started with a under layer of pleated cobweb material for both the skirt and sleeves. Ended up with very flowy robe-like results. Stitched inverted faux brown leather for the neck piece, black-underside-showing.

I then individually cut armor pieces from faux silver vinyl, but acrylic detail down for some lines, and stitched it all together. A deep navy blue belt from the oil tanned leather is included among the faux vinyl armor, and some silver metal strips on the sides. Added black hemp cord detail over the darker line details, painted triangle and crescent moon rhinestones in yellow and metallic gold acrylics and cut thin strips of red dyed leather for the chest piece details and made a tiny silver buckle for the one side.

Sapphire rhinestone jewels glued on silver and gold metallic rhinestones attached to the front broach, to finish.

Hat hand-stitched from same cobweb material and permanently attached to head.

gothic_lolita_sugarberry_by_lightningsilver_mana-d9weiyo.jpg

Generation 1 Sugarberry My Little Pony crafted as a generation 3 custom pony figure.

And by g3, I probably mean… half of a g3. As the head is engineered from a legit Hasbro g3 donkey pose, but… the body is of a g3 fakie! What can I say, I’m not discriminate when it comes to picking out poses to engineer.

Head and body color were kept original this time. Twice as Fancy strawberry/vines paint job is done in acrylics. Eyes also hand-painted by me in acrylics, all paint work sealed. Eyes embellished in rhinestones.

Mane and tail is rooted in nylon mlp hair in the colors sugarberry DH, and Truly Outrageous DollPlanet hair. Pigtails are lightly styled in my hair gel method.

Lolita outfit- started with the hindleg warmers. It is hand-stitched 5 layers of ribbon/lace trim. Diamond rhinestones on the fronts to finish.

Next I did the front sleeves. Hand-stitched a nice red fabric, and added deep red cobweb trim over top to give a layered texture. Pleated black cotton wide bias tape ruffles on the tops, faux black vinyl trim along the bottom, strings of faux pearls, pink chains, and black bows with a few rose-garden-themed beads.

Layered necklace started with a deep red vine leaf trim with black ribbon layered over top, then a skull necklace with a cross pendant strewn on floral wire. Red bow to finish.

Skirt train- Used the same nice red material as the sleeves, the wide black bias tape o the top half with layered pink lace and pearls, the faux black vinyl trim on both sides, thick black lace at the bottoms with white leaf vine trim and the rest of the deep red leaf vine trim above. Added 2 large silver metal skulls at bottom of train and top of tail. 2 black ribbon bows with plastic silver hoop beads. Layered green ribbons on tail.

Hair accessory- started with adding the wide black lace, then pinned a wide red ribbon bow. Attacked a ladybug to it, made 2 strings of beads on floral wire, attacked to each side then added 2 more black ribbon bows to finish.

Custom hand-crafted figure of Chancellor Chime from the video game Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King.

----SOLD----

Also included in last photo of this photoshoot is the other 2 customs I’ve done so far of my Crystal Chronicles project: Mira and a dancer selkie NPC. All 3 are available for sale.

final_fantasy_cc_mlaak_chancellor_chime_by_lightningsilver_mana-d9yot2r.jpg

Pony base is a generation 4 hard-haired pony from the first line of Friendship is Magic pony figures that came out as sets. So she’s part of a large Crystal Chronicles project I’m doing, where I took a bunch of hard-haired ponies, boiled them in a large pot of water and popped/carved their hard hair off. Some popped off easily, some required careful slicing with exacto knife.

Coated entire pony figure in white gesso, in several layers then slicked on the flesh tone body paint in one layer of acrylics. Eyes painted in my anime style, were really simple and straight forward. All paint work sealed in Artists Varnish.

Mane and tail are rooted in dyed hair I custom ordered from dollplanet! I figured it was worth a shot to see if they did custom orders, and they did an amazing job with this. They really knew what they were doing with this, and measured out specifications to the custom itself and it shows. Hair is permanently styled in place, hair clips on both sides of head are cut from faux gold vinyl, white lace with more gold vinyl repeated on the back, then a white leather hat crafted that I hand stitched with use of a leather hole punch. Lined white hemp cord on top of hat, gold ribbon along the brim, faux gold vinyl on the front with painted detail and black rhinestones, then black hemp cord lining the bottom.

Glasses were crafted from thick black wire, shaped with pliers.

Outfit- started with painting the black leggings on hind legs, then cut her brown boots from a faux brown vinyl, detailed in various widths of white ribbon and white lace, painted gold detail, and thick brown oil tanned leather soles.

Sleeves were crafted next- Pleated a white lace, then stitched sleeves from a neutral navy blue bias tape, lined the hems with white ribbon, cream lace, then added strips of white hemp cord for the stripe details, pleated white bias tape and folded it over for the puffy shoulder sleeves, gold accessories on puffy sleeves are tiny gold rhinestones on pentagon-shaped cut gold vinyl. Stitched pleated white ribbon lace around the neck for the collar, painted red maxi piping with white stripes for the chest bow, glued black rhinestones on it, and made the blue jewel from a green jewel but painted it in different pigments of acrylics and glued it to a piece of gold vinyl.

And she has a skirt and belt- belt is brown bias tape with thin brown ribbon stitched over top, with x’s stitched in a nice neutral thick thread. Gold vinyl and rhinestone accessory with a brown bow on one side, layered pleated mustard yellow skirt on other side lined with the cream lace trim, hand-painted detail in red acrylics.

How do I start on this- Game Cube Crystal Chronicles is one of my main sources of inspiration for art and music. That's a good start.
This is my third time making this set of Selkie girls, first set I made back in 2007 from g3's then I took those ones apart in 2012 I think, and remade them then. But I wasn't fully satisfied even with how I did them in 2012, so here there are freshly crafted again, in 2016 but with a full set of moogles and a crystal chalice.
The chalice and the moogles needed each other~

Pony bases are generation 4 Friendship is Magic hard maned ponies. Probably the first line of ponies that were produced from the toyline, and were available in complete sets of Pinkie Pie, Apple Jack, Twilight Sparkle, Spike, and Princess Celestia. I bought 7-9 of the sets to craft Sailor Moon scouts~

For these bases, I had to hard boil all the ponies. All of them. Even the ones I used for the moogles.
Boiling water softened the hard hair so I could slice them off with slightly more ease, with my trusty exacto knife. So that happened.

All pony bases were coated with a sturdy foundation of white Gesso so make the acrylic full body repaints slick on smoothly with ease.
Girls have flesh tone fbr's, moogles have like 1 layer of white paint. Girls' eyes were all painted identically but with individual shades to match each character. All paint work sealed in Artists Varnish.

I made a separate memo on my phone of all the hair used in the project, I shall refer to that now.

Raccoon tail selkie (blonde girl) has the following hair brands/pigments-
Dollyhair nylon buttercreme
RetrodollsUS nylon jonquil and vanilla
Restoredoll Meghan blond katsilk
Recycled peachy blond hair from a miscellaneous doll I can't recall

Owlhead selkie (purple haired girl):
DH nylon custom blended mulberry crush & stormy sky nylon
Saran Barbie hair foxglove lavender
Restoredoll hair nylon katsilk gray
Recycled BJD hand dyed grayish lavender wig hair

Wolfie Selkie (blue haired girl)-
Dollplanet nylon bluecrush
Gray nylon katsilk Restoredoll hair
DH nylon mlp rain cloud and arctic frost
Saran Barbie heartless blue

Sharkeyes Selkie (green hair)-
Gray nylon katsilk Restoredoll hair
RetrodollUS nylon gooseberry green
DH nylon sea nymph
Saran Barbie hair mint ice

Hair styled in my hair gel method
3 of the girls have hand-stitched faux fur ear and tails, the sharkie has oil tanned leather ears and tail. I capitolized on their selkie animal names by giving them these features, and even gave the shark, wolf and racoon selkies little vinyl white fangs on their mouths for added cuteness~

I did all of their sandals, skirts, and bikinis all at once~ everything is hand-stitched, I hand painted details on skirts and sleeves.
Wolfie has a paw added on the sleeves, shark eyes as fish bones for the painted detail, owlhead and feathers and raccoon selkie has tiny painted raccoon tails on her pleats and sleeves.

Sandals are crafted out of ribbon and bias tape, skirts are all bias tape with maxi piping on some, and white faux fur added on shoulders and front hooves. Black leather soles on their sandals. Some of the girls have hemp cord detail across their chest, all but the sharkie. She has a different thicker cord detail for the texture of her black top.

Wolfie has some leather strips accessorizing her hair, owlhead has an embelished burgundy bandana on the back of her head I lined with gold trim, then stitched beads. I added feathers on her tail for her animalistic embellishment like I did to the other gals.

Moogles were all painted, wings cut from the white faux vinyl I used for the gals' fangs, painted the purple wings, used a giant thumb tack and safete pin to puncture holes into their foreheads to attach thick black wire bobbles with red beads fastened in place and glued white faux fur for their poofs of fluffs on heads and torsos.

Chalice started off as 3 beads wired together with carefully layered beige leather, that is glued in place then painted. Wired a stone bead at the top for the crystal dipping into the chalice.

SHOULD NOT BE DISPLAYED IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT FOR PROLONGED PERIODS OF TIME
Not only because he’s a vampire, but because the red leather, some of the brown pieces, and synthetic hair are all prone to sun fading.

ff7_vincent_valentine_v2_0_by_lightningsilver_mana-da19z26.jpg

Pony base is a generation 1 bride pose. Coated in white gesso, and full body repaint in antique white acrylics. Eyes painted in anime fusion realism style, all paint work sealed in Artists Varnish.

Mane and tail rooted in TheDollPlanet’s black hair and RetroDollUS’s dark blue monofiber hair. Hair styled with a hair dryer.

Started with crafting the gold claw gauntlet. Used 5 thumbtacks, cut the flat ends off of them, painted them, then attached hand-stitched gold vinyl on them and clamped flat gold aluminum wire at the bases, poked then into the hoof of the pony. Painted gold and black on the rest of the leg, then cut layers of the gold vinyl for the rest of the gauntlet and one layer of the flat gold aluminum wire.

Other front hoof has a fingerless black glove I cut from the faux brown vinyl but used the black inside exposed out, clamped black wire on a strip of navy blue leather for the buckle and black hemp cord detailing.

Then I did the boots, started off with a base layer of faux brown leather. Gave him thick black leather soles with triangular points for the boot shape, another layer of thick black leather over top, then a layer of the gold vinyl and 2 layers of the flat aluminum gold wire, and more of the faux brown vinyl lining. Added brown leather strap along the backs of the boots, a strip of brown oil tanned leather at the tops and a layer of gold aluminum flat wire clamped under the oil tanned leather.

Stitched a under layer of his black outfit for underneath- pants and one-sleeved top. Attached a panel of black leather across the chest with the buttons that are rhinestone detail.

I then cut the cloak in 2 pieces, from red dyed tattered authentic leather. Used the darker suede side exposed out, cut 5 strips of navy blue leather for the straps in varied sizes, and clamped black wire buckled in varied sizes and black hemp cord detailing. Put 3 metallic rhinestones on the larger straps.

Cut a long strip of the dyed red leather for the head band, suede side out.

black_butler_sebastian_v2_0_by_lightningsilver_mana-da1r3ej.jpg

Pony base is a generation 1 Sweetheart Sister pose that fellow customizer LadySatine mailed to me as a bait.
I coated it in white Gesso to prep it for a painting canvas, then did a full body repaint in antique white acrylics.
Eyes also hand painted in my anime/fusion style, his demon star tattoo is on his bottom left front hoof as well with a removable glove.

Mane and tail were re-rooted in remnants of synthetic hair I had laying around from other projects, so I ended up using black nylon DH, noir katsilk Restoredoll, black DollPlanet and the blue is RetrodollUS’s monofiber.
Hair permanently styled in my hairgel method.
I made faux fur cat ears and bunny ears for him on headbands. They are interchangeable, but I’m leaving him in the cat ears at all times while he’s in my hands xD

Outfit- started off with the shoes, they are thin black faux vinyl. Thick black leather soles lined with black hemp cord.
White under-top is wide white bias tape stitched in various layers. Gloves are also stitched white bias tape, but one is removable via Velcro to reveal his demon star.
Entire suit is hand-stitched from a wide silk black ribbon, tie and lapels are a stiff ribbon. One layer of thin pinstripe fabric under the flaps, which are faux vinyl.
Put his pocket watch on his flank, as kind of a 3-D cutiemark. I used a real watch clock face and I put a metal ring round it, then wired rose and skull beads over top and attached a thin silver chain. Rhinestones detail sleeves and lapel.

Link & Epona with Goron Sword Quest items

:chief::flutter2:---SOLD---:flutter::wigwam:

***NOT RECOMMENDED to display this project in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time. Dyes on synthetic hair as well as leathers are prone to fading***

legend_of_zelda_goron_sword_quest_link_and_epona_by_lightningsilver_mana-da31kic.jpg

I was out shopping at craft store and purchased a package of tiny glass bottles, and one of them was a blue star shaped one. I figured it would be one of the quickest bottles I’d use on a custom pony project, especially with a steampunk themed custom… but then I remembered there was a actual blue star shaped bottle of eyedrops in the Zelda series, and decided that I needed to do some research and do another Link custom with the quest items.

After some research realized it was the Big Goron Sword quest from Ocarina of Time, that Link had to do as an adult- exchange a series of items to obtain the Big Goron Sword. Researching the items, I chose the main items. I left out the broken sword and claim check, stuff like that but chose the cutest items like eyeball frog, eyedrops, blue cuckoo, egg and odd mushroom. Also decided these items would be best adorned on the saddle of a larger Epona custom.
So along with these quest items, I crafted a Big Goron Sword as well.
I didn’t craft any other additional items or accessories from the game cause I wanted this particular project to focus on the quest items. But Link isn’t ever complete without a Navi on his tail.

So I started off with the Link custom. Pony base is a generation 4 smaller Princess pony. Left the horn on, removed the wings. Coated the entire pony in white gesso to give a canvas for the paint work to bond to.
Eyes painted in my anime/realism style. Full body repaint in fleshtone acrylics. Cut the ears off and painted white acrylics for Link’s white underclothes. All paint sealed in Artists Varnish.
Replaced pony ears with leather hylian-style ears I crafted from leather and painted, punched a hole in each ear with leather punch and shaped thick silver wire hoop earrings through the holes.

Mane and tail are rooted in the following synthetic doll hair:
TheDollPlanet’s Midastouch
RetrodollsUS jonquil
Dollyhair nylon mlp hair in the colors:
Peaches & cream
Passionfruit
Butterpecan
Recycled golden yellow hair from a g3, probably mango tango DH.
Mane permanently styled in my hair gel method.

Next up, I crafted his boots and gauntlets from real leather. The main material of his boots is a brown suede. Lined detail with hemp cord, painted a triforce on one gauntlet.
I then hand-stitched his green tunic and hat from bright green cotton fabric, brown belts are bias tape with green ribbon detailing, golden buckles I shaped from thick gold wire, square painted brown rhinestones. I stitched white undercollar on the tunic from wide bias tape.
Navi is a blue cotton ball with lavender flower petals stitched that I used on the Deku Princess commission I did. Navi is stitched in place on the tunic near the tail.

Epona- this was another doozy of a challenge. This is the second Epona custom I’ve crafted, first one I did back around 2010 or so for a commission. That saddle had other items like Link’s wallet and a bottled poe.
http://t10.deviantart.net/BoJzkjz6qmcnereN0oD-GiVInBw=/300x200/filters:fixed_height(100,100):eek:rigin()/pre03/4a96/th/pre/i/2015/121/a/f/epona_x_link_commission_by_lightningsilver_mana-d2tibzl.jpg

Pony base for this one was a black Breyer horse. I cut out a large rectangle in its back for the Link custom to nestle in.
Coated the entire horse in clear gesso, did a hand-mixed acrylic blend of reds and browns for the full body repaint. Did black hand-blended gradients up the legs, nose and ears. Painted the eyes, and sealed all paint work in Artists Varnish.

Mane, tail and fetlocks are TheDollPlanet’s whitefang hair. Mixed in Dollyhair nylon marshmallow cream hair into just the fetlocks, and dyed the base of the tail with navy blue Rit Dye.
Fetlocks and mane are permanently styled.

Saddle- started with the dyed blue leather interior. Then lined it with several other layers of real leather, all detailed in various rhinestones including painted triangles to make the Triforce on each side. Suede cloth attached to both sides of saddle.

Goron Sword quest items- blue star eyedrop bottle was purchased as-is. I glued the cork in place so it won’t ever pop off and get lost.
I purchased craft mushroom and egg from craft store, and painted them in acrylics to match the game items. Glued brown faux fur around the bottom of the egg for its nest.
Blue cuckoo and eyeball frog are ceramic figures I lightly customized. Eyeball frog just has pearl rhinestones for the eyes and I painted the pupils on.
Cuckoo was originally a black crow but I painted it blue, added blue feathers and cut out red leather waddle and put black rhinestones on it for the eyes.
Then the Big Goron Sword is silver vinyl I double-folded-over then glued a blue toothpick in place for the handle, wrapped blue thread around it then used navy blue leather strip pieces for the hilt then finished it by added gold rhinestones.
