I’m a Animal Crossing addict for life and I feel like Julian the unicorn villager is the best animal ever lol
(I’ll also accept custom pony commission requests for anyone’s favorite Animal Crossing character!)
So I’ve had this idea planned for a bit.

Julian’s pony base was a pegacorn fakie. Cut the wings off since he has a shirt.
Coated pony base in white gesso, full body repaint job in aqua acrylics. Eyes, hooves face and horn also painted in acrylics, all sealed in Artists Varnish.
Mane and tail are rooted in nylon mlp dollyhair in the color waternixie. Mane is permanently styled.
Shirt is thick dyed blue leather- WILL BE PRONE TO SUN FADING IF DISPLAYED IN SUNLIGHT FOR PROLONGED PERIOD OF TIME, Do Not display him in sunlight or his shirt could turn a ugly tan.
My custom hand crafts are vampires, lol. THEY WILL PERISH IN THE SUUUUNNNnnnn

Generation 3 Celestial Fancy Swirls!

This set is inspired by a campaign of collectors writing The Bridge Direct company to talk them into producing a set of vintage ponies called the Celestial Fancy Swirls.

They were a concept that Hasbro came up with in 1990, but instead produced the Pocket ponies instead. So these beauties never saw the day of light on the store shelves ☹

Their swirls reeled me in though. They remind me of the unicorn frappuccino and for that reason, I was sold on the notion of crafting a set of these. It shows me that I can just pick up a paint brush and paint a texture on a pony if I feel like it.

The bases- I first rummaged through my bait stock for nice generation 1 bases. But it turned out I was really low on any worth using so I decided to make my set g3’s instead. I swapped heads and bodies around of several g3’s and came up with these varied poses.
All of them are coated in white gesso to prime them for bonding the acrylics.
Their swirls are painted in 3-4 layers of matte and 1 layer of metallic paints. The pink and purple ones have gloss paint as their main body colors, with metallics and mattes layered over top.
Eyes painted in my style of expression, cutiemarks carefully painted to match the originals. Eyes and cutiemarks are sealed, I only sealed the blue and white pony’s entire bodies with Artists Varnish.

Their antennas are wire, beads and crescent moon rhinestones. All painted and anchored into the scalps, sealed in mod podge.
Manes and tails are rooted in tinsel hair I cut off of other ponies in my bait box. None of their hair I used on them is fresh at all. For this reason I was limited on the length of the hair, so I had to do the wire and knot method. 4 ponies at once, I quickly was reminded why I do not miss doing this wire method all the time. Killed my hands!

Vintage 80’s cartoon background pony

I really want to call this background pony “original prototype design of Rainbow Dash” lol. But this is a hand crafted custom figure of a unnamed pony that appeared in the 1980’s Hasbro My Little Pony cartoon. (Screen pics from cartoon included in pics for reference).

Pony base is a generation 3 short pose. I say short pose cause on these ones, the legs seems a tad shorter than most generation 3’s. The cat is a bobble headed Littlest Pet Shop (1990’s) cat that I repainted to resemble the vintage 1980’s Hasbro orange tabby cat that appeared in the cartoon and toy line.
Both figures are coated in white gesso primer. Bodies, faces, cutiemarks all painted in acrylics. Pony is sealed in Artists Varnish, kitty is sealed in mod podge.
Pony’s eyes are painted in my personal style. Cause why do art if I can’t use my own style.

Mane and tail are rooted in:
Pink/peach/yellow stripes of mane are nylon pony hair I cut off of other pony figures in my bait box.
Green stripe is a blend of nylon dollyhair envy & key lime.
Purple stripe is nylon dollyhair wisteria blended with dyed BJD wig hair.
Mane permanently styled/hardened in hair gel method, curling iron and a hair dryer.
Tail is the same pink and purples from the mane, but with pale blue nylon dollyhair arctic frost.
Wide raspberry ribbon tail bow tied to finish.

Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild, The Lord of The Mountains

This custom figure set is of the majestic kirin steed as seen in the Nintendo Switch video game Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild. I also felt he wouldn’t be complete without a sitting Link custom riding on his back, so I chose to craft Link in his barbarian attire.

Steed’s pony base is a Strawberry Shortcake horse. I cut it’s hair off and set it aside and used it to make the magenta hair on the skull helmet Link is wearing. I also chopped off the horse’s nose and ears. The eyeballs are plastic 3-D eyeball stickers that I popped off of the loose glittery generation 3.5 fakies. I’ve never really had a good use for those until now. And I tell you this was a wonderful use.
So this kirin has 4 eyes. Took me a bit to wrap my head around the design for that reason, but I figured it out. The browline between both sets of eyes is strips of thick leather I cut to shape. I also used thick leather for the cloven hooves. Antlers are flat silver aluminum wire with painted oval rhinestones glued on.
Both figures coated in white gesso primer.

Link’s pony base is a generation 4.5 Pinkie Pie fish. It was one of those fish figures from the movie, but I got curious and cut away the fabric tail fin and found she had her regular legs tucked within. And all 4 legs of the figure are reposeable so I felt it would make a PERFECT base for a sitting Link custom mounting the back of the majestic kirin steed.

Kirin has layered coat in blended pale blues and aquas, lots of metallic powder blue for the over-sheen, the markings are coral oranges, peach, neon red all toned down and blended with the metallic blue. I did add some glow in the dark paint but I also painted over it quite a bit to soften the markings more. Painted a triforce on a flank just to give the design a signature Zelda vibe.
The sticker eyeballs are painted in black, oranges, yellows to white.
Link has full body paint job in mocha acrylics, eyes given his unique expression, and I did paint body paint markings but they are mostly covered in the barbarian attire. Made the attire as tiny as possible too.
All paint work sealed in Artists Varnish.

Steed’s lower half of mane is cerulean mohair. Sides and face/tail is pale aqua yarn that was combed out to poof. Cerulean mohair and rooted in feet for fetlocks.
Link’s mane and tail is rooted in nylon mlp dollyhair in colors mango tango, golden delicious and lemonade. Link’s ears were cut off and replaced with leather Hylian ears.

Link’s barbarian attire is all leather. Fur pieces are faux white fur, some painted details, hemp cord, leather belts, metallic rhinestones, some bone beads poking through leather on one side. The tiny long beads detailing one hind leg and one front leg, are real silver. They’re from a antique bead assortment my mom gave me early on in my childhood.

Skull helmet has a base structure from a plastic craft egg. Thick white leather glued over top, leather fangs and horns, and real bone beads for the smaller row of teeth on the front. Braided the magenta hair that is equipped out the back of the skull helmet.

Generation 3 South African Heart Throb

Tried to keep this sales post as close to Valentines Day as possible. Just a few days late, but close enough!

Decided to take the South African variant design of generation 1 vintage mlp named Heart Throb, and craft her as a third generation mlp figure. The American version’s colors are all pink on pink, so seeing this is a real treat.

Pony base is a engineered pose from 2 different generation 3 pony bases- body of a Pegasus (I sliced off a 3-D symbol, filled it with leather, glue and gesso then covered it in a new 3-D symbol of my own) and head of a donkey pose to make it more dynamic. And a vague attempt to make it match the South African g1 pose.

Entire figure coated in white gesso primer, full body repaint in white acrylics, cutiemark and eyes painted. Eyes mildly embellished in my own style, made the cutiemark 3-D with painted heart rhinestones. All paint sealed in Artists Varnish.

Mane and tail rooted in nylon mlp dollyhair in the color cherry pie.
I made one string of beads for the mane on floral wire, then embellished the rest of the figure in various ribbons and rhinestones.
Tried to keep level of detail down to keep this at a lower price for a quicker sale. One string of detail goes a long way, still.

Generation 3 Argentina Glory custom pony
I saw 2 different Argentina Glory international variant designs- one had solid neon red hair, other had lavender. I wasn’t quite feeling either of them, so I decided to take U.S. Glory’s striped mane layout, and do the neon red hair with a stripe of lavender. So I kinda combined 3 different Glory designs.

Pony base is a engineered pose- body from a walking Wisteria, head of a core 7 clone pose. Horn is from a China fakie princess Luna.

All paint sealed in Artists Varnish.

For the longest time, I had thought about crafting a Nyan Cat custom. Set aside the pony base, but never got the proper vision to actually do it. Over recent years I’ve considered maybe it would be a good idea to craft a Deadpool custom, especially showcasing his unicorn companion.
I eventually got the vision, to not only craft his unicorn, but after running into a gray cat pillow at Walmart that barfs rainbow and a blue heart pillow that says NOPE on it, this vision from the 3 sources started to collide. I decided to make Nyan cat the gray cat from Walmart, with the rainbow flowing out of its butt only, instead of mouth. Then also turn Nyan into a kind of unikitty concept, for Deadpool’s unicorn. And put a horn on Deadpool too for added measure.

…so that is how this came to be. And I was smiling throughout the entire photoshoot because of the sheer epicness of this project.
Pony base for the Nyan cat is a generation 1 pony. Deadpool’s pony base is a Bratz pony. Both figures coated in white gesso primer, then Nyan and Deadpool are fully painted in acrylic paints. Nyan’s horn is severed from a 5 below sitting fakie unicorn, and Deadpool’s unicorn horn is severed from a zilla talking/light up Celestia generation 4 figure. I didn’t seal any of the paint because of the gloss and glitters.

Nyan’s kitty tail is faux fur stitched around thick wire, ears are same faux fur and I threaded the thick wire through the muzzle for the whiskers.
I designed Nyan’s poptart as a saddle, using thick leather and painted it to resemble a poptart. I made 2 patches from leather like Deadpool’s unicorn has, but I turned the heart patch into the Nope heart and put a red patch on opposite side. Detailed their stitches with hemp cord.

Nyan’s mane and tail are a rainbow of nylon mlp dollyhair in the colors lapis sapphire, sea nymph, pomme d’ amor, guacamole, sunset, daiquiri ice, electric banana and The DollPlanet’s blue crush.
Tail is permanently styled/shaped with hair gel method, but is designed to be the rainbow wave stringing behind Nyan.

Deadpool’s detailes/accessories are black ribbon, brown and black leather, and brown bias tape folded for the belt bags. He is fully hairless but that’s okay.
Deadpool is attached through the back of the Nyan pony with thick, flat aluminum wire.

Decided to craft vintage Italy international exclusive pony design Minty as a generation 3 hand crafted figure.
Pony base is a engineered pose from 2 different generation 3 poses, coated in white gesso for primer. Full body repaint in custom hand blended acrylics (even added some gold glitter for sheen) and painted eyes and cutiemark. I sealed nothing because the paint is very thick and smooth and I liked it as is.

Mane and tail are rooted in nylon mlp dollyhair in the color diamond.
Put a couple ribbon bows and a string of beads on the tail, and same on the mane.
The pink star bead is considered “a lucky star” just to fit in with the good luck clover theme.

Decided to craft a custom pony figure of the Lucky Charms unicorn that’s on the limited edition boxes. It is epic, contains rainbows, and unicorn.
Pony base is a fakie coated in white gesso, white full body repaint, painted eyes, rainbow on body and the charm marshmallows are painted leather pieces I cut.
Horn is from a generation 4.5 princess and the base of it is wrapped in white hemp cord, and horn is painted. All paint work sealed in Artists Varnish.

Mane and tail is rooted in nylon mlp hair, the pink is recycled from another pony and the blue is waternixie dollyhair. I styled the waternixie in hair gel method so it would have a curl to it like the other hair.
Embellished the rainbow/paint work with rhinestones and added a large painted heart rhinestone to represent the logo.

Watched the anime on Netflix in January and have been moved by it ever since. Slaine and Princess Asseylum were my favorite characters from the anime so I decided to make a set of just them. Without exposing too many spoilers, I’m quite angry at the writers for the direction they put Slaine in, the later seasons. So I still like him anyways.

Pony bases are generation 4.5 princess poses, princess Asseylum’s was a larger Celestia base (she needed it for all her ruffley froof) and Slaine is a smaller Princess Luna base, I like the uniform standing straight pose for him, it seemed most suitable.
Bases coated in white gesso primer, full body repaints in sunkissed peach acrylics.
Reshaped the eyes so the fit the characters better, painted in acrylics also. All paint work sealed in Artists Varnish.

Manes and tails are rooted in nylon mlp dollyhair in the colors:

Slaine- Sunlight, Moonlight, Blonde 4 and Honeysuckle.
Princess Asseylum- Butterscotch, Buttercreme, Lemonade, Golden Delicious and braided hair extensions from Claire’s Boutiques. Both manes permanently and elaborately styled in hair gel method.

Outfits are hand-stitched/crafted. Slaine’s suit is a sleek fabric with faux black vinyl boots with real boot leather soles, red wide bias tape used for his cuffs and collar but with gold vinyl hemming. Black ribbon belt with a gold vinyl buckle, the princess’s medallion adorning his collar which is a painted silver rhinestone with blue rhinestones on it and gold chain on each side. White bias tape gloves underneath the sleeves.

Princess Asseylum’s dress is wide white bias tape pleated for the ruffled train, bias tape for the sleeves and across the chest. Used a sheer white fabric material for the bodice and puffed upper sleeves. Layered lace on bottom sleeve cuffs, A powder blue starry fabric used to detail ruffled parts and the raised collar behind her head.
Blue ribbon detail stitched to adorn the front chest.
Added strings of beads for her necklace and on her tail, the moon accessories are painted rhinestones and the round red detail is a magenta plastic stone with the flat back painted and glued to a cog.
Fabric roses adorn the train.

I first made orange and green Tide Pod ponies that sold then a commissioned white one, so now I provide, a purple one! I equipped this one with not just one BUT TWO silver vinyl forks as earring and in mouth.

Pony base is a itty baby fakie, used original body color. Applied white gesso for the cutiemarks, Mr. Yuk on hoof and Tide logo on forehead. All paint work is hand done in acrylics, cutiemarks have round painted rhinestones for a raised look. Eyes painted in my original style. All paint sealed in Artists Varnish.

Tied a yellow ribbon bow on tail, crafted candy accessory details on mane and tail with rhinestones with ribbons underneath.

A.I.C.O. Incarnation is a anime and I felt inspired to craft a set of customs.
The girl in the full black school uniform is the real Aiko, and the girl in the white school girl outfit is the fake A.I.C.O. created by the professor dude in the black suit named Yuya Kanzaki.
I decided to craft the girls on a base of red “matter” that was caused by the incarnation of the fake A.I.C.O.

The matter tentacles are crafted from a layer of brown boot leather on the backs, sandwiched with thick red dyed leather. Glued rhinestones for the texture then painted over them. Punched holes with leather puncher then wired the tentacles together with thick black wire.

AICOs’ pony bases are 2 generation 4.5 Pinkie Pies that are the same. Coated both with white gesso, then hand painted full body repaints and painted their eyes in acrylics. The professor’s pony base is a generation 4 princess Cadence. Wings and horn severed off and figure coated in white gesso, acrylic full body repaint and eye paint job, paint work on all 3 figures sealed in Artists Varnish.

Manes and tails are rooted in nylon mlp dollyhair.
Professor Yuya’s hair colors are black magick and hematite.
Both Aicos’ manes and tails are rooted in colors custom blended hazelnut & dark chocolate, and RetrodollUS’s burnished brown.
All 3 manes are permanently styled in hair gel method.

Both school girl outfits- wide bias tape stockings on hind legs, thick real leather shoes crafted, faux black vinyl pleated skirts, wide white bias tape used for the white shirt, wide black ribbon used on the black longsleeved top, ribbon details on sleeves and fukus. Red bias tape red scarves, lace on front chests with silver sequins in middle.

Yuya’s suit- hand stitched inverted faux black vinyl in 6 pieces, wide blue ribbon used for his blue sneakers with white hemp cord laces, white bias tape on front and ribbon lining the soles and leather soles.
Wide white bias tape used on under layer of sleeves and neck, navy blue strips of leather detail cuffs and neck. Rhinestone button details to finish.
