Custom pony figure of generation 1 mlp FlutterBye redesigned on a generation 3 pony base, embellished in harajuku style.
Pony base is custom engineered- body of the walking pose and head from a different g3. Wings are from a baby generation 1 beddy bye eye pony (the one I used on Skullkid commission in January!)
Base is coated in white gesso to provide a texture for the acrylic paints to bond to. Body color is full body repaint of a custom blend of acrylics I mixed back when I made a Somnambula custom. Just added drops of water to the blend to make it useable again.
Cutiemarks are painted butterfly sequins. Eyes painted in my style. All paint work sealed in Artists Varnish.
Mane and tail are rooted in nylon mlp dollyhair in the colors peach and electric banana, and the powder pink and teal stripes are reused hair I cut off of Hasbro pony toys.
Mane permanently styled/hardened in hair gel method.
Leggings are all multi-layered in bias tape, ribbons and laces. Sequins, bows and beads sewn over top for added layers of detail. Neck piece is 3 layers of textile detail, mane has a few strands of various beads strung on floral wire then rhinestone embellished.

Pony base is a generation 4.5 Princess Cadence, wings and horn removed. Coated base in white gesso, full body repaint in acrylics, underbelly and eyes also hand painted.
Wings are thick leather with thin faux silver vinyl glued together, both sides painted and cerulean hemp cord detail. Horns on head are hand stitched white leather, with purple ribbon detail wrapped around. Tail is also stitched leather that is painted.
All paint sealed in Artists Varnish.
Tail tip and mane are dark blue feathers. Finished the figure with various blue rhinestone details for her spots and diamonds.

While making the first Ember custom I did, I found myself looking at the Princess Skystar griffin base pose and thinking her elongated features may have done Ember a little more justice. So I jumped on remaking her that way after the first one sold.
This time I also made sure to put wire inside the leather horns and tail so they’d be easier to shape.
Wings, horns and tail are all hand stitched leather. Leather and pony base are coated in white gesso, everything hand painted in acrylics then sealed in Artists Varnish.
Blue feathers added in mane and tail tip. Rhinestone scale details throughout the figure, cerulean hemp cord detailing the webbing of the dragon wings.

Pony base is a generation 4.5 transparent Celestia. Lopped her wings and horn off, naturally. Prepped all the painted portions of the figure with a base layer of white gesso, then hand painted the rest of it in acrylics. Sealed in Artists Varnish.
Ears are small wooden dowels with cut pieces of leather at the tips, all painted and sealed.
Boots are lined with a black cotton material at the tops, tail is white beads strung on wire with round rhinestones glued to the tops of. Then added a coat of tacky glue, painted the bone tail in thick layers of acrylics then sealed in mod podge.
Axe is a tiny painted dowel with layers of silver vinyl in different textures.
Added shoulder bones cut from white leather, and a red kerchief tied around her neck with pink rhinestones detailing.

Saw some Nightmare Rarity concepts floating around, so decided to craft my own spin on the concept.
Pony base is a fakie Nightmare Moon from China. Used the original body color the best I could, painted over the armor to improve it. Added navy blue tips to the wings, painted the eyes to look more like Nightmarity’s. All paint work sealed in Artists Varnish. Embellished cutimark and armor in rhinestone details.
Mane and tail are rooted in mohair I bought from a local Garlic Festival.

These character custom figures are based on the Sanrio-style cartoon on Netflix called Aggretsuko. Here is pictured Retsuko the sweet red panda that goes rawr from time to time, her friend Fenneko and her secret admirer Haida the hyena.
All their pony bases are small fakies. Retsuko’s is a DG fakie, and I can not guarantee that if these sell that I’ll be able to make replicas from these exact bases. We may or may not have to think of different bases. The DG fakie is likely going to be hard to get ahold of, not sure. I’d have to hit up ebay or groups.
Their bases are all coated in white gesso, and they are all painted in acrylics. Retsuko’s mouth was sliced open more with exacto knife and I filled its proper rawr shape with thick red leather. All paint work sealed in Artists Varnish.
Fenneko’s and Haida’s ears are cut from beige and black leathers, Fenneko’s are painted. Tufts of faux fur glued on the insides. Retsuko has tiny tufts of faux white fur on the outsides of her ears. Fenneko’s and Haida’s tails are hand stitched faux fur as well. Retsuko’s tail is hand stitched light brown suede leather with painted orange stripes.
All their outfits/suits are hand stitched from blue and white bias tape. That’s pretty much all there is to say about that. Very quick and straight forward designs. Haida’s tie is also red bias tape.
Oh! Haida’s eyes are thin faux vinyl glued over the original eyes of the pony base, are glued in place and painted. This is about my first time using thin vinyl and glueing it overtop a pony base for accurate eyes. I should do it this way more often.

Sailor Sylveon custom pony!
THESE NOW RESIDE WITH TRAVELING PONY MUSEUM and are not available through me at this time.
This figure is a fandom splice of Pokemon Sylveon, redesigned as the stylings of a Sailor Moon scout fuku! I improvised this however I felt at the time of the details, and followed my own artistic vision and instinct cause that is what artists are for and what they do!
Pony base is a generation 4.5 Princess Celestia, movie-style. Used the original body color for this one. Painted the pink markings on the head for Sylveon, and the eyes. Sealed in Artists Varnish.
Mane is rooted in nylon mlp hair. The magenta is reused wavy hair I cut off of other Hasbro pony toys. The lighter pink is nylon dollyhair in the color blend of kitten and pussycat. Styled it in hair gel method.
Ears and tail are raspberry faux fur!
Boots/gloves are a thin pink vinyl with sticky back, so I stuck the vinyl on. Glued white ribbon trim along the tops.
Fuku is entirely hand stitched from various widths and colors of bias tape, but kept it in the colors white/light blue and pink. Sleeves are white pleated lace and frilly trim. I made 3 Sylveon ribbon bows from white bias tape and painted the tips. They have layered pink ribbon middles, and I painted round rhinestones to resemble Pokeballs, glued clear rhinestones in the middles.
