Howdy!

Okay, I'm looking to commission someone to do some inking/coloring for me!

My husband makes his own wine and I design the labels. I'm not much of an artist, but I've managed to draw simple/cartoony designs that we like. However, once I color (prismacolor pencils) and scan them, I lose some detail and they just aren't very vibrant. The labels have a human-like character with a tree/simple landscape background.

I initially thought I wanted the work done with a computer program, but I've lurked in here a little and see a variety of mediums that would be awesome! I would really like to have someone color my drawings and possibly jazz them up a bit to make them look more like professionally printed wine labels. Anyone interested or know someone who might be?

Send me some examples of your work and an idea of what you would charge for 4 fairly simple different wine label designs.

We can't sell the wine without a liquor license, so we just give it as gifts and I'm trying to get a jump start on Christmas. As such, I can pay you a one-time commission fee for the work!

Thanks so much!

What exactly are you looking for as for colors and such? Could you email me the art piece? My email is: mmmaiden101@hotmail.com

I color/paint with:
Watercolor, Primacolor Pencils, Copic Marker, Pastels, and Acrylic on all paper/canvas boards.

Please let me know. If you want to see my works go here: Mythian on deviantART

I actually like looking at art labels on wine bottles. I do buy wine from time to time, but when I'm not buying wine, I'll walk down the wine aisle just to look at the art.
Turning Leaf brand did their label in watercolor and acrylic. Barefoot brand I think did theirs in marker. Yellow Tail did their labels in graphic design and watercolors from time to time (their labels keep changing too, it's fun to watch) Red Quail (I think that's the name) did theirs in oils. Yes, I study the art, it's fun.

Some photoshop editing might do the trick to liven up the ones you already have. I can do this for you for a small fee. But if you want it colored as well or fixed up I need an idea of what you're looking for. I work with photoshop, painter 10, acrylic paint and color pencils. I have some small knowledge with oil pastels, and water color. My email is cinder_wolf@hotmail.com

Let me know!! =3

I have some of my graphic design stuff at ShinseiKatai on deviantART
