I just finished a partial reroot on Princess Pristina! I got her in an eBay lot and she had her tinsel forelock chopped off, of course! I found some tinsel that was a pretty good match at JoAnn Fabrics (Sulky brand), and rerooted the forelock and added some to her mane and tail so that it blended. I made the forelock longer so that it is the same length as her mane.
I loved how it turned out!!!
Now on to princess sunbeam and taffeta... also in the same condition! 254112541325414

Good job! That looks fantastic, honestly I've never considered re-tinseling, seems like too much of a pain but yours came out so good....hmmm.....

Definitely more time consuming than regular rerooting, but so worth it! :satisfied:

She looks beautiful!

I agree, re-rooting tinsel is a lot more time consuming but there’s a bigger pay off with the finished product. I’m kinda obsessed with adding tinsel to my custom re-roots now.
