So I was just blessed with a 20+ pony lot I picked up from a local seller.

Unfortunately a lot of the girls have had initials written on their hooves. I get it, we all had to protect our precious heards as a child but now... Now I wonder if anyone has any tips on how to remove them. I’ve tried magic eraser, various cleansing products (resolve, Lysol wipes ...) but I’m having a difficult time.

Now to be frank. I’m ecstatic to have these girls they are otherwise perfect but Seaswirl has initials on her back hooves and I would like to lessen hers at the very least.

Any ideas or help anyone has is greatly appreciated.

Magic eraser and acetone (my next choice for stubborn marks - carefully kept away from symbols etc.) are only effective on recent ink marks that haven't had time to bleed into the plastic and stain it. Once the ink has bled into the plastic like that only sunfading will get it out.

Also, has anyone bought hair from Dollhair for rainbow coloured manes?

I’m having a hard time finding which colours are best to replace the “yellow” and “green” colours in the mane.

I figured as much on the ink. Boo. Oh well.
Thanks for the link for colour matching! That’s super helpful. :)

I know it sounds crazy, but a boiling OxiClean bath can sometimes help with these stains that penetrate the plastic. Not always, in which case @Breyer600 ’s suggestion to use sunfading is probably your only option. Good luck!
