..did anyone ELSE wonder why Princess Primrose's tail was red, but her hair was blue?

Also, man. I do not remember some of the lines being as lame as they were between Gnash and the others. It IS twenty years old, so I guess some credit is due, but man.

It was also a crappy copy, so it looked fuzzy and had tracking issues. When I finally looked away, my room was all blurry.

lol I agree, some of those lines are pretty lame. But I always enjoyed seeing the princess ponies so I didn't mind too much. The copy I had was fuzzy, too lol I used to tape the episodes off tv, so those tapes are very worn out. Even though I now have the first season on dvd, I still keep my tapes because I think it's neat to watch some of the old commercials. In particular, one for Jem, and one advertising Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood. Good stuff.

I know someone mentioned that there was a DVD with all the episodes on it.. is there, really? If so, has anyone bought it, and just HOW good of a condition are the episodes?

Hi there,

I have a copy here on my computer. It's fuzzy as well and the sound clitches out at times. :(

Yeah, some of the lines were lame, and I always did wonder about the red tail on Primrose! But like you said - it is an old show. ;)

I think the freakiest part on that episode though is when Locket has Windwhistler's voice and WindWhistler had Locket's! It's so freaky because I just can't imagine Locket having that 'know-it-all' voice...

It's the first season out of 3 seasons, and it's a 4 DVD set. The quality is excellent, but I've heard that some of the episodes have had heavy editing. I haven't noticed that though, but it's very convenient to have all those episodes in that form rather than tons of tapes.

I've been wanting to see that again!

What connection are you on, Dragonfly? I will glady send you my crappy copy.

Really? That would be awesome! I have Quest DSL

Do you have AIM or MSN? I can send it via those, or I can try to GMail it to you. :?

Lilac? Oh, I must've missed that part? Do you know whereabouts it is?

And yeah, their snobbish Paris Hilton attitude gets me, too. I guess it was to show how stuck up they were, so that when everything was done you had a 'lesson' to learn from the episode. I did like the chair that tried to eat things, though!

And.. why did the ice men look like Tetris peices and designs on a Navajo blanket?? Anyone..? They all had the faces of Tiki-Men too, what the heck, LOL?
