Ever have a day where your timing is off for everything? Yeah, that's today for me. I've been stalking four different auctions all week. All ended today and I somehow managed to miss all of them by like two minutes. ARGH. So frustrating. Also, I missed out by like half a second on Tornado. Good grief.

That’s terrible luck, but I’m a believer in things happen for a reason. So maybe your just meant to find better ponies in better condition.

I’ve been stalking a few mountain boys myself and might take a huge leap and buy one or two. Just so hard for me to justify the asking price of these boys.

In other news, I have been going through my whole collection and grooming and organizing and I found two ponies I forgot I had. Baby Sunbright and Lil Sweetcake.

I highly recommend using a sniper service. I know some people hate snipers, but my aim is to get the best price and sometimes sniping helps me save quite a bit. I recommend Gixen highly. They're 100% free, they don't have a limit as to how many auction they'll snipe for you before they start charging you cash, and really they're very efficient. You just have to register and give them access to your eBay account. But worry not, I've used them for ages and they've never had a data breach or lost my data to hackers, unlike eBay itself.

To set up a snipe all you need to do is sign in, enter the auction number and the highest amount you're willing to pay. About 8 to 10 seconds before the auction ends, it'll bid for you. The only time it fails for me is when my bid isn't high enough. I love it.

Also, I remember waiting to bid on an animation cell from Dragonball Z on a spectacular close up of the character Radditz. It only had one bid at $5 and I was willing to go as high as 100 (because I wanted to give it to my Poopsie as an ani gift). I was about to bid and BOOM my cat knocked over something and distracted me. By the time I finished with the kitty, the auction ended at the 5 bucks. I literally wept.

Ugh, been there! It's the worst, it'll slip my mind and then when I remember I'll see it ended for way less than I would've paid and I kick myself! Or I'll be looking for something and I'll check recent sold listings and see one went for a low price and I'm like, how did I miss it!! I have saved searches but sometimes I swear some slip through or it'll be spelled slightly off like Scribble vs Scribbles who by the way I am hunting for. Honestly though, if we had a time machine we could just go back to the 80's and buy all the toys we want and still spend less than a Rapunzel! Can you imagine all the toys you could buy in 1987 with 700.00 *faints*

I think I'm too paranoid to use a service like that one. I've considered it in the past, but never went through with it. I've been missing out on my auctions all week. Lost another one, I had been eyeing today. Maybe it's for the best.

Oh Gingerbread... the damage I would do if I zipped back to the 80's. I need 10 minutes in Toys R US.

If I went back in time I'd be hitting every comic book store in the States. So many good books I still need. LOL. We won't talk of all the toys and crap I'd buy.
