After the recent earthquake activity in BC and Alaska, I realized that my pony shelves are not anchored to the wall. If the big one hits and I'm in my pony room (ok, let's face it, it's a pony closet), I'll be buried in ponies.

Not a bad way to go...

Kinda like a pirate, going down with her ship. Grrrr, argh. Ahoy matey, there be ponies ahead.

Years later (because I live alone and no one ever calls me), an archaeologist would unbury my remains and try to determine my cause of death. She would note in her findings that the subject appeared to be mummified in colourful pieces of plastic and appeared to have died with a smile on her face.

Wait, I was supposed to be cleaning up. This is what my procrastination is looking like today. Bizarre fantasies of my demise.

:unsure::blink::rolleyespony:

Death by Pony, I think it would work for me. If my real life ponies don't eat me first. Little Studmuffin was determined to at least chew on my hair to get my flavor today.

All my shelves are fastened down, although earthquakes are rare here. I had this son, named Action Hank who liked to climb up 6 and 8 ft shelves then lie on the top like a cat. I was terrified of them crashed down with him in the thick of it, so I started bolting them to the walls. Now I do it because of my awful, awful kitties.

She'd probably think you were part of some rogue cult that worshipped ponies to the point that you preferred to be buried in them instead of a traditional grave. :p

Lmao!!!!! This thread made me laugh.

When it's my time to go i hope I'm covered in marshmallows or something

I don't know why

Or maybe plushie ponies that resemble marshmallows

Or marshmallows that resemble ponies

Or when i pass I end up in the eternal loop of ponies and marshmallows morphing into and out of each other

That'd be heaven

how bout candy cane plushies that look like marshmellows...I guess this isnt a good thread because its making me hungry. lol

I read about an author living in San Fran who had all his bookshelves bolted to the wall, but when the earthquake hit all the bookshelves stayed still but all the books came tumbling down on him.

So there’s that.

Honestly, I figure I’m either going to be crushed by ponies, crushed by books, or tripped on the stairs by a cat. It will just depend on which part of the house I’m in when the time comes.

Not to be too morbid here, but, if the voices are right (and they were about so many things), then I'll kick the bucket in an accident at 63. Not many earthquakes up here, above the flood zone, wind and fire are easily prevented here, not too cold, not too hot, rare occurrence of violent crimes, I don't go out much, not on the road or in planes much, the climate change will be too late for me, so we plan for the zombie apocalypse. ;)

If I could choose, i think I'd go like my great grandfather. He fell asleep and didn't wake. He was 90 something. They say he went so fast that he wouldn't have felt pain. Brain aneurysm. Big one. He could walk and had his full mental capacity until the end. I like to think he had a good dream that never ended.:ponylove:

I agree to this 100%. I don’t want to be in a hospital alone, I’d much rather be home alone if anything.

Well, this post took an interesting turn. My wish is that we all are fortunate enough to have a peaceful ending to our stories when the time comes. Please bury me with Butterscotch.
