Oh yea Baby Bows and Cocoberry. I looked for a while to find a pink haired Coco girl. She was one of my favorites in that group of ponies.

No, not Snuzzle either. Also, while Shoreline does have what appears to be a fading pink stripe (and it will fade like that), it's the color change part of her hair. Seaflower has the same - a fading pink color change stripe. A couple of the Perfume Puffs have fading pink forelocks and the rest of their hair is a similar color that will also fade even if it's not exactly the same.

So...why won't a color changing stripe count as fading pink if it is pink and it fades? Just wondering...

I would think it wouldn't be the same because, it is a different kind of hair entirely. It is white and takes sun to color change it. Sometimes they turn magenta and stay that color without the sun. Even though that is fading it is not the pink haired pony fading I am wondering about. I wanted a list only of that unusual pink hair that hasbro used on ponies that fades to white. I am not really needing to know about the color changing white hair that fades if that makes sense. It is a different issue. See, I am learning once again that a pony or two I have, had that pink in their hair and I never knew it because, mine never were pink. LOL This list is so helpful. Thank you so much. I am confused though where does Magic Message Cuddles have a pink strand of hair? I though all of her hair was golden? @Breyer600 Also I had no idea Mimic had a pink strand of hair .... boy this is educational. LOL I also didn't know that Cuddles had that cheek mark. Good grief, Tulagirl doesn't know her ponies. ROFLOL I have that pony and her back card, maybe it is the fact I don't see well. I can't see detail in things anymore. sigh

Pretty much what tulagirl said - it's a different type of hair even if it looks the same before exposure to the sun turns it magenta; so, it would depend on why the information was needed whether it should be included or not.

All of the Magic Message ponies have a colored streak. Here's a picture that shows Cuddles' pink (would probably be show it better if she wasn't wearing the Pretty Ups :p):

Oh this is so funny. I got mine out and sure enough the pink hair is there. I never noticed in all this time I have owned her I don't think I ever flipped her hair up to see that. I could barely make out the little symbol on her face even with glasses on. So eyesight is my biggest issue. I am so amazed though. I think I just displayed my pony as I was happy with her. She is like a brand new pony now ROFLOL. I wonder who else in there has things I have not discovered.

OK, since we are talking about fading hair, but she DOESN'T have pink hair, I wanted to bring up the name Dabble because I have always wondered why no other ponies have been made with that fading teal/aqua hair? Or have they and I just didn't know about them?

Also, according to Ponyland Press, some of those Euro Exclusives named above were not the fading pink, they were the soft pink, and although they will fade slightly, they won't fade completely to white. That color wasn't used on any U.S. ponies, just some Euro exclusives.

I suspect the Dazzle's fading teal has something to do with the way the hair was dyed to get the horizontal stripes. I remember how shocked I was when I first got my ponies out of storage and saw her with grayish hair instead of the lovely teal I remembered.

Actually if you look on pages showing the ponies themselves, Ponyland Press lists all of the Euro ponies named above as specifically having light pink (their term for fading pink) hair rather than soft pink which is how they list Love Story's (who did not make the above list), and the chart itself doesn't specifically list any of the Euro exclusives. (I'm hesitant to rely on their hair color chart anyway - for example, Skylark is listed as having pink, lavender, and dark purple when she actually has peach, lavender, and white.)

Also, Sweet Clover should be added to the list - I don't have her and so forgot she's supposed to have fading pink hair too.

Hmmm... I didn't notice that, Breyer. I have only looked on Ponyland Press a couple times, so I didn't know when "coming soon" was going to be.

As for Dabble's teal hair, it's so sad that it fades like it does. It was such a pretty color and I bought mine with nearly white hair. I wish there had been some way to make the dye last.

You all seem to have this covered. :)

I only have the advice which I will use once I get a pony room. Keep the light pinked hair ones in a dark corner where sunlight never reaches them or get UV blocking strips on windows to keep the light out.
