I'm getting in a spooky mood with Halloween being so close! I think it's about time to decorate the house, don't you? Have you already decorated your house? Please share some pics!!!

I'm currently home with my 4 month old and going a bit stir crazy  and with a 2 year old as well I'm trying to find some things we can cook together. :stir:

So please share some of your favourite Halloween snacks! Your own, links to recipes, pictures; all would be appreciated <3

Well I've bought 3 persimmons and ate them so far, which feels like I eat sweet tiny pumpkin tomatoes lol

And got a giant bulk sack of taffy in CARNIVAL flavors- cotton candy, bubble gum, buttered popcorn and RED licorice....

Oh wow, you’ve really got your hands full! If you want to sneak in fruit, may I recommend banana ghosts? You cut a banana in half the short way, so you have two stubs, then you stick two chocolate chips in each one like eyes and you're done! Also, I always like to check out Martha Stewart's website for Halloween stuff, she usually has some clever snack ideas.

I decorate every room in the house, I love the holidays. I'll try to post some pics this week. I do throw a Halloween party too and make some regular and themed food. I just finished narrowing down my menu for this year, I will post it and you can let me know if you want any of the recipes :)

Hmm, yeah after looking over my party menu I can't say I have much to suggest for wee ones. I throw a pumpkin carving party with my girlfriends, booze + knives and so far no one has ever needed more than a band-aid LOL I'm making meatballs, hot pepper dip, my famous cheese steak eggrolls, deviled eggs, veggie tray, ham rolls with pimento cheese, smoked paprika garlic dip, mac n' cheese ghosts, pumpkin cobbler and spiked pumpkin punch. The only things that look silly are my deviled eggs, sometimes I make them look like eyes or pumpkins and the mac n' cheese ghosts. The pics I found kinda show what I'm talking about, I'm going to do the mac n' cheese with white cheddar and black olives to make them more ghost looking :)

On actual Halloween some of my husband's friends come over and we usually get Chinese take out and I make a dessert, they love these BOO brownies. Let me know if you want any recipes :stir:
