There are Pros and Cons to the Quarantine and Corona Virus Pandemic. Mostly, Cons but we can focus on the Pros...

The Pro I found was my Lunch Is Safe From Other Employees Who Are Food Theives...

This Quarantine transition has been tough but there are aspects to be grateful for even for those out of work And Enjoyed Working...

For me, I nolonger have to worry about Chronic Food Thiefs, who My Coworkers Chris created signs on the Refrigerator telling the 2 Food Theives to respect other people's food and he would argue with both of them.
At my past job there was 1 particular woman from another company who would take food because workers food was *free* for her, she doesn't have *empathy* for the workers whose lunch she stole, she *couldn't feel embarrassed* when caught stealing nor feel *any regret* - because she couldn't be fired (since her company was different), all of which she would, with a very ticked off attitude, explain every time she was caught.

She said that her boss and coworkers can feel embarrassed for her but she has a Developmental Condition And Is On The Spectrum, so she never feels embarrassed.
Others, who worked with her, would follow her to our breakroom, try (in vain) to dissuade her from stealing, and apologize on her behalf As she'd leave with a workers lunch.
At the time, through out those months, she would infuriate as would Karen/Michelle who insists on taking whatever she wants...
Needless to say, everyone would be furious.

Now I could just laugh about that and Food Theives are 1 Less Problem To Worry About.

What are you Grateful for during this Corona Virus Pandemic?

I'm grateful for no door to door salesman, witnesses, or basically anyone other than the mailman knocking on my door. (No, thank you, I don't want to discuss my roof, windows, lawn, selling the house, saving my soul, saving on car insurance, or purchasing any newspaper or magazine subscriptions.)

I'm grateful for my lovely home and yard. My mom just bought and planted a new spirea out front and a vine maple out back. <3

Gardening can be therapeutic because you get to watch something grow...

@Tak : beautiful plants!

Absolutely, just being in the garden, watching the veg grow and all the flowers in bloom, it's so soothing that I haven't missed going out that much. :)

I had an 80ft ancient maple tree that had to be cut down last year. It was dying and it would have been disastrous if it had fallen and taken out my neighbor's power. My parents would have had to pay for repairing everything. $5000 to cut it down, I still have the huge burly knotted stump.

That's one of the things I really love about this region. It's so lush and green. <3
