Glow and Shows: Something I've NEVER Seen

I was browsing Ebay and came across this very odd-looking Dazzleglow. I mean odd. I know there are differences in the Glow and Shows' colors and opacity, but I've never seen anything quite like this.

Would you chalk it up to fading? Anyone seen anything like this before?

You can see in that last photo differences in opacity between the two Starglows, but nothing quite as extreme as the Dazzleglow, who is CLEAR!
 
Hmm..Well,it looks like just plain fading to me.I used to have a sparkly pony when I was little and because I always played with her in the tub or outside she faded and looked sort of like Dazzleglow,but not as bad though.How does the seller describe that one,well if they do at all?
 
Whoa O_O That's really pretty! Even if it is seriously faded.

So here's a question: do you think you could fade sparkle ponies and the like to a lighter color as well?

I'm pretty sure that just 'ole fading. Weren't the white stripes supposed to be light pink?
 
I have two Glow N Show ponies (The one with the doves, in the pics above.. can't think of her name right now) and I kept both because they're so different.. one is very opaque and solid, and the other is really see-through and if I remember correctly kind of squishy. I'd have to check to make sure though.
 
i would imagine its just faded but I have never sen one faded like tha tbefore. Looks cool.Too bad there never made a clear white one.:balsmilies:
 
I have 2 or 3 as well... mine look fresh and new. Those just look really badly faded. But it is kind of an interesting look! :)
 
Yea, it definitely looks faded. I think that it would be very interesting if the whole pony was the faded color, like if it was a variant or something. I agree, I would love to have seen a white/clear GlownShow!

ichigo-- Yes, I have seen faded Sparkle ponies. Especially on Twinkler and Star Hopper. They turn really, really icky. They look so much nicer with a bright, bold, unfaded color.

I did a comparison shot of my two Starglows, with one being pretty clear and the other opaque looking. What looks best on GnS's?

I can't decide!

The opaque one is very pretty, but the translucent one fits the 'Glow and Show' idea much better. So... I guess I'll go with the one on the left. :lol:
 
poor dazzle glow looks really faded :(

i saw a happyglow for sale on ebay not too long ago and she was really faded too! she looked very much like that dazzle glow in the first post.

The one with blue hearts is definitely supposed to be the harder to find of the two, but I've seen an equal amount of both, personally. I'd say she's just prettier, and people want her more over the other one, rather than being all that much harder to find, but then again I don't keep track of it, so someone else here would probably know better.
 
I agree, in my experience the two dazzleglows are about the same in terms of how hard it is to find them, it's just people want the blue hearts one more.
