I had a spare Sweetie Belle (Core 7 Valentines) that was real baity. I went ahead and attempted to remove her hair, and most of it fell off, but her pink and dark purple stripes are giving me a hard time! I’ve tried acetone and boiling water to soften the glue, but no result :sadpony: . Help?

Stomp on her head. :p

Serious, it'll help loosen up some of that glue if it's really thick in there. Then you should be able to scrape out most of what's left.

Well first....you need a tiny guillotine.

Honestly i have no idea. That glue is amazingly strong.

I agree with what @Skybreeze said. You can also use a boiling OxiClean bath to loosen the glue—it works wonders! I dissolve the OxiClean in the boiling water in a bowl to avoid burning the pony and/or her hair on the sides of a pot. Using pointed-tip tweezers to chip at the glue from the inside can help. Once enough has been chipped away, needle nose pliers can help get out the rest. Finally, it can help to use a needle to push through the holes from the outside because the sharp needle can often break through the glue. You may need to (carefully!) hammer on the top of the needle to help it get through. I used a combo of of these techniques to remove stubbornly glued hair plugs from the Jazz Matazz I re-haired and the Buttons I plan to re-hair. Good luck!
