Any tricks for getting acrylic paint off a stuffed toy? I've washed him twice, but it hasn't done much. Can I soak and scrub? Or do I need harsher chemicals? He's very special to me as my daughter gave him to me for christmas. Of all the paints, it had to be black too! :(

I have used pure acetone mix with just a little water.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Slapping my leg!!!!! ROFLOL I was a bit confused also, but it must have a deeper meaning. Pooh lets see what could you try? To be perfectly honest when I was a teacher I made my paints as washable as I could by using soap and not water to mix them. Sadly there were certain colors that would not come out. These were yellows and reds and orange.

Some of its been reduced, but it seems he's got a one sided sideburn.

You could try some of the specialty stain removers at Walmart in the detergent section. Perhaps one of those would work in this situation?

Yea if the plushie has no hair left when you are done you can just get a support group like what I had to attend when I de flocked poor Cat Pee Pony. Another idea that I have done is look on ebay for the exact same plushie. Buy it and cut out a patch and sew it over the flaw. This works better than you think.
