skig's G3 to G1 Custom Swap Social Group


I thought it'd be fun to do a G3 to G1 Custom Swap here at the TP.

• For this swap, you will be creating a G1 pony based on one of your partner's favorite G3 ponies.
• Participants will be paired based upon skill level.
• Partners will be secret, so please try your best not to reveal yours until he/she has received his/her custom.
• Ponies chosen can be adults or babies of any breed, so long as it is a pony from the G3 line.
• Use a genuine G1 pony to create your custom - no fakies, please.
• If you are unsure about whether or not you should customize a particular G1 pony, don't hesitate to post your question in General Discussion. Better safe than sorry!
• You will have EIGHT WEEKS to complete your custom. Please be sure that you are able to commit and stay committed to this project.

Important Dates:
February 13-22: Swap sign-ups.
February 23-27: References checked.
February 28: Partners assigned. GET STARTED!
April 4: Photo update/swapper check-in. You will receive your partner's address at this time.
April 25: International shipping deadline.
May 2: US shipping deadline.


Swap Requirements:
1. Minimum three months membership.
2. Minimum post count of 100.
3. Minimum of 10 positive feedbacks on the TP or eBay.
4. You must be able to meet all deadlines. I understand that life can sometimes throw us curveballs. Should a problem arise, I ask that you PM me ASAP so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
5. All packages must have some type of tracking, for which you must PM me the codes.
6. You must leave feedback for your partner after receiving your custom.

Incidentally, if anyone needs help choosing G3s, I believe that Moonfire's site, though out of date, is still the most updated. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.
