g3 fakie baby and neon green G1 fakie baby!!

Look at what was in a $5 lot from ebay, besides a whoooole mess of McD's (which I've taken to hoarding in a little back pack thing... o-O ), a few adult G3s and some very cool fakies (most of which DB asked for); they advertised "36" ponies, but there were at least 41 (plus accessories for some of the McDs including the Mcponyville chair!! eeee!) In the box were two G3 babies, and two fakie babies which are the real reason I went for this batch. I wasn't sure if the one fakie baby was a fakie or not from the pic on ebay, but it intrigued me enough to decide it was worth $5 and shipping. And I am soooooo thrilled with the fakie babies!
I can't believe how "real" the bright green "G1" baby looks, and I hadn't seen a G3 baby fakie yet... but now just look at her!! And take a look at how her tail is made: it's fixable (a plug came out in the spa...) without head removal! I just love her color--she's a soft creamy white, on the yellow side of creamy, and her hair color is sort of melon-y but more pastel than bright, with a white blended in. SHe's sooooo pretty!
Does anyone know who makes these kinds of fakies? And can anyone tell me anything about the green "G1" baby fakie?
They're still drying their hair (they were terribly smoky smelling yuck--but I knew that was a possibility with this set) from their baths so you don't get the full effect, but I couldn't wait to post these.

i believe both of those were put out by Dollar General. the newborn is what is reffered to as a "DG baby"-aren't they great ^^ i love mine-all the few i've managed to get. the G3ish one i think is a DG too, but i'm not 100% sure....either way, neither are cirrently being made for DGs right now unfortunately. only can find them 2nd hand at this point unfortunately

FIgures. :( ARe they recent enough (well, maybe not the "G1") that some DGs might have old stock around, do you think? *plots locations of all local DGs...*
 
Sorry to hijack your thread and ask this, but are the DG fakies considered uncommon or saught after? I have a bunch and if so I'd love to trade them off.

@Dazzle: well, to customizers they are a bit looked for i guess since they're not made anymore and are easier to get a hold of than real G1 babys. i for one have to look near and far for any of them-i've only ever gotten like a dozen, and most of those were from the fair last year. so if you sell em, they'll be gone real fast

What cute fakies I adore the DG babies I have one in just about every colour :D

The butterfly fakie is ADORABLE :p I've never seen anything like her before . . .

Great finds! I love that fakie who is half sitting. How lucky you were to find a DG fakie. I'm always hoping to find some of them at yard sales. I never do though. lol
