I've worn holes through the fabric of eight pairs of socks in the last week! My sock drawer is getting to be a barren wasteland! o_O Methinks that I need must procure more socks soon... though it may be difficult to reach my feet for a while. lol I've been so preoccupied with plans to take care of my girl and help my recovery go well, that I clean missed my dwindling sock supply! :(

For those of you who may not know, I was in ballet for 15+ years and at a professional level when a back injury killed my career. I love my feet. (Not a foot fetish, I just really like my feet and take good care of them) I've always had a "there's no such thing as too many socks" attitude. I like the ankle socks, trouser socks, knee socks, thick socks, and thin socks. As long as they aren't wool, I love them.

I may see if Amazon has some good deals. I do so love clearance. :D

I’m the exact opposite. My feet need to be free at all times. I hate being confined into socks, I’m happy to wear cutsie slippers or something but the less socks I have to wear the happier I am.
I blame my mother for this for allowing me to live in Spain at such an early time in my life. Now I live where there’s snow on the ground for eight months of the year. :(:(:(:(:(

I can't stand having dirty feet. Which is just odd considering I used to run around outside barefoot. Now I wash my feet several times a day, especially in summer when it's too warm for socks. I used to hate wearing them. I'm a little crazy ;) lol.

I totally get it. I hate having dirty feet too. I have been trying to take good care of my feet lately, because I destroy them with hiking and trail running. I've lost toenails and my big toes are bruised to heck right now from putting on 70km in two days. I love socks. I had over 150 pairs not that long ago. I'm trying to whittle down my drawer and keep it under control.

Inside I never wear socks. I used to go barefoot outside constantly as well, being a country girl, but a injury to my heel put an end to that. Now Action Hank... unless we're two feet deep in snow, he won't have shoes on unless we're going to town. He flat refuses. His poor feet are always covered in fire ant bites, but he's seemingly immune to pain. I dunno. Dat boy ain't right.

must be something he inherited from his dad, not me. Because I'm soooooo perfect! :coolpony:

This is to make feel better about your socks situation

Thank you! That was great. Lol I haven't seen all of g3. It's rather fun finding the bits I've missed.

Nothing is wrong with going barefoot. :D I'm just strange, and with my thyroid breaking my thermostat, I'm always getting cold.

I have two other reasons why I don't do barefoot anymore. My mother got worms once. Yes, that's right, worms. Thank goodness they were only tape worms and not something nastier, but still, ew. Also, I stepped on a dead bee and the resulting bee sting was very unpleasant. At least I know I'm not allergic and I might be the only person stung by a bee that was already dead. o_O

I dislike socks unless they fit around the ankle or go up to or past my knee. Fuzzy socks are also rad.

I wish I had known this before I through a huge garbage bag of new socks in the donate bin because, I just can't find a place to store them all. I forgot all about them and they were brand new living in my storage unit. Well the shipping would have been crazy so we probably made the right decision to donate them. I still have several pairs of small childrens socks I have no idea what I am going to do with. Probably age 3 size. lol I absolutely adore socks but I am picky about brands now as many are just way too tight and itchy or they don't hold up well. I have a tiny foot, but some socks just squeeze my foot in all the wrong places and its a sensory nightmare.
