Fizzy%2Band%2Bdragonfly%2Bbunnies.JPG

A quick phone photo of my painting of Fizzy and some Dragonfly-Bunnies from Avatar. When I saw them watching Legend of Korra, I thought "You know, these little dragonfly-bunnies look like something from My Little Pony" and there you have it. They are fluttering around Fizzy <3

Mixed media. I'm thinking about doing more.

How lovely! You art just gets better and better, I so adore it. And funny enough I just saw the episode with the dragonfly bunnies, so I actually recognized them.

Is this maybe pastels and watercolours?

Evilbunnyfoofoo!!!!!

Thank you so much-- I alwas appreciate your comments and replies!

I'm so glad you know what they are, lol. They just seemed to fit so perfectly! In fact, sometimes I think the MLP world and the Spirit World of Avatar might be the same place when I watch the old episodes and even the new show! Are you enjoying the Legend of Korra? I enjoyed the original Avatar series quite a bit. I loved Ang and I loved the elements and spiritual aspect especially. I REALLY liked Korra at the beginning, but the last season is losing me. I loved the parts about the spirits and how she's connecting with herself and finding her own strength, but this last season is a bit depressing.

I used watercolor, colored pencil, and even a touch of acrylic and pen. LoL, I'm all over the place. I'd love to do some more pieces ^_^ I'm getting married this summer and getting ready to publish my third book, so it may be after the wedding. I was just so stressed from everything I had to sit down and do some art to relax, you know?

Thanks again!

Right-on! Beautiful art! Woo!

That's a lovely picture, the way you've used the different materials works great!

I particularly like the way you've done the dragonfly-bunnys' ears, you've captured the feeling of the movement when they're flying well. :)

Also yay fellow Avatar fans! :ponylove:

Thank you very much for your comment and compliments :flutter2:

I wasn't sure if I should do multi-media, but I'm really happy with the way it turned out, thank you :)
I am happy to meet another Avatar fan too! I am a cartoon fan in general, hehehe, but I really love the spiritual and personal growth messages of Avatar and how fun the world they created is :ponylove: I think my next MLP/Avatar cross will be all watercolor. I have already done the line work, it's Fluttershy and some air bison  Although, in retrospect I should have drawn the image on a larger piece of paper, but oh well. We'll see how it turns out!

Sounds like me with media. I grab whatever is handy and slam it on paper. I am uncouth. :D

I haven't seen any of the new season of Korra, but really enjoyed the show for what viewing I've done. I just happened to be passing through when the bunnies were on air, and they just delighted me. I intend to play catch up and watch the whole new run, but time is always my enemy. I do hope they keep quality up, it's a good show and deserves careful treatment.

Are you getting a lot written lately?

Same. I love untamed art :winkpony:

I think the first two seasons are great, honestly. The third is ok, but the last one lost me. Hopefully you enjoy it. Let me know what you think :QB:

And yes! That's why I've been gone for so long, I was pretty focused on my books. I'm on my third book of my series. It's currently being edited and I revised the first book recently to submit to more book reviewers  So lots going on and lots of promotion and traveling.

What have you been up to? :D

I think the effect is really lovely, so it was a great choice to do multi-media I think. :)

I like animation in general too! So many lovely films and series, so much variety. I agree with Avatar, the way the world was built up and the way the characters developed was great. I was particularly pleased when they told the story of the original Avatar and loved the style it was animated in, some of my favourite episodes those. :) I rewatched all of the original series and the Korra episodes together a little while ago and found it interesting to watch them together like that. Some of the things in the art books are really interesting too, and some of the pictures in them are gorgeous! :)

That sounds adorable! Such a good combination as well, I can imagine Fluttershy would love making friends with the gentle and fluffy air bison! :) Fluttershy's one of my favourites and I love the air bison, I'd love to see the picture if you'd like to share it when it's done.

If you don't mind me asking, what type of books do you write?
