I have been unsure how to fix this cutie mark for a long time and there doesn’t seem to be anything anywhere for repairing it.
When I was little, I liked to put my ponies in the bath, in the pool, anywhere they could pretend it was a beach or a pool and I think that’s how this got like this. Since Daffidazey came with the Twist & Style Parlour and being an extra long hair pony, her hair occasionally got tangled up in it too and the only way I knew how to get it out was to try to pull it out.
Here she is:
Please excuse her puffy hair. I have other questions about that for another post. This one is just about that cutie mark.
As time has gone on, I think it’s just rotted judging from the colours. The leaf is still there at the back (if you could call it that) just folded and unable to unfold.
Here are my questions:
>Has anyone ever restored a Daffidazey cutie mark?
>Would it involve beheadding her and pulling it out? Beheadding ponies makes me worried.
>Would it be possible to remake it if I could somehow match the netting? Looking at pictures of new Daffidazey’s, I’m unsure what the shapes would have to be and the sizing. If I was to use what I had I don’t think it’ll be accurate because a lot of the cutie mark seems gone.

EDIT:
Thank you for the suggestions about what to do! I went ahead and tried to take off the screw. I couldn’t unscrew it so I took off her head to see inside. The tail was in front of the back of the pin I couldn’t pull it out. I took out the tail and then I still couldn’t do it.
The advice about warm water helping take off the heads worked very well here because I put her in a bowl of hot water and boiled the kettle then tipped it inside. I waited for her body to get soft and I pulled it out! It seems like the pin is in two parts but I just can’t get them apart. I have a lot of different colour netting so I will use those to remake it

ANOTHER EDIT:
Cutie mark all done!
