Rikku in her thief outfit as seen in the Play Station 2 video game Final Fantasy X-2

Crafted as a custom pony figure.

Custom pony base is a generation 1 Sweet Heart Sister pose, but pose is custom engineered from 2 different ponies.

I remove the original hair of the ponies then prep that pony base in Gesso to give a texture for the acrylic paints to bond to.

Full body repaint job in flesh tone acrylics, eyes painted in my anime-fusion/realism style. All paint work sealed in Artists Varnish.

Mane and tail re-rooted in dollyhair’s nylon mlp hair in the colors Tiramisu and Passion Fruit then RetrodollUS’s saran hair in the colors Platinum Blonde, then nylon yellow Jonquil. Threaded various red and blue plastic beads on Rikku’s braids.

Hair permanently styled/hardened in my hair gel method.

Outfit- started off dying the scarf. It was originally a braided pale yellow rope bracelet. I unraveled it, then took scarlet and orange powder Rit Dyes and did boil dye baths of the red and orange and carefully dipped the pale yellow material into the dye baths.

Then did the brown gloves on front hooves- cut from a thin authentic brown leather.

Offwhite ribbon sleeves- hand stitched from offwhite bias tape, unfolded it and cut individual pieces from white folded bias tape, tied individual bows (5 up each sleeve) and individually stitched them up the sleeves.

Boots- Started with a nice blue satin material, cut the necessary shapes/pieces out them stitched white bias tape along the hems. Tied bows from thin white hemp cord and stitched to back of boots, fronts of boots are white leather as are the soles. Lined with thin black vinyl strips.

Bikini- chest piece is cut from yellow cotton material with pale orange hemp cord stitched around the hem, then deep orange hemp tied at the front making a bow, and pale orange hemp tied across the back and under the belly. Bikini bottom is pale yellow bias tape with the same pale orange hemp cord stitch along the top hems and tied together on the sides. Added thin faux vinyl black strap along the back of the neck with thin floral wire buckles shaped with pliers then stitched the scarf on.

Head scarf bandana is neutralnavy blue bias tape with medium dark bright blue bias tape stitched over top.

Skirt- cut from a thin faux olive green leather. Punched holes with a leather puncher where all stitch work was to take place, then stitched silver metal hoops for the eyelet details, tied deep orange hemp through the holes then stitched light green hemp cording along the top and side seams.

Then crafted bags. Cut out the bag shapes from authentic acorn-colored bear leather, punched holes for stitching with leather puncher, then stitched light brown hemp cord along the edges then stitched the bags together. Stitched larger metal hoops on the flaps and tied deep orange hemp cord fringe through them. Belt is authentic thin leather with thick silver wire for a buckle detail shaped with pliers with the bags attached.

Weapon accessories are crafted from thin gold faux vinyl material, of which I painted in red and red metallic acrylic paints.

Decided to craft a Cait Sith companion since in the final quest her mascot suit is Cait Sith then in the Japan version of ffx-2 they wear “Festival-Goer” garb and she has Cait Sith printed all over her outfit in that attire.

Cait Sith is crafted from a generation 3 Breezie. Stripped the wings, hair and antennae off then painted him in acrylic paints, stitched thick red leather gloves on all 4 his little feets, pinneda thin vinyl faux crown on his head glued a black hemp tail on then tied red ribbon around his neck after glueing the head on.
