do you like any ponies with hair faded to a different color?

mainly I mean the pink hair fading to white..


I have a UK NSS Wind Whistler with near pure white hair, and she's pretty.

Most of all though, I love Up Up and Away with white hair. I've never seen one with pink hair in person, but the pics just don't look as good to me as one with white hair.


What do you think ?

I totally prefer Princess Serena with white hair. With pink, she looks tacky. With white, she looks wise and kind .

I agree with you both! My NSS Wind Whistler is lovely in white and Princess Serena is so serene white her pale main.

I'm odd, I like the pink when it's a "fresh out of the package pink"

if it fades just a little it's starts to get a yellow tinge, (and I don't like it at all)

so for me, it has to be bright pink, or faded all the way to white.

I like Tornado with white hair better. Happy Tails Squeezer can pull off the blue+pink combo, but Tornado is a portly stallion (lol) he looks windblown and like he has elemental magic powers with the white.

I agree that Tornado looks best with white hair, but perhaps that is because my Tornado has white hair

I think Four-Speed looks good with white hair. Then again, I've never seen one with the streak still pink... :?

I don't really mind the faded hair. But I'm glad my Mimic still has her bright pink streak!

I just don't think any boy ponies should have pink hair. At all. Period.

I agree about Tornado and Steamer. White hair matches Tornado's symbol. And Steamer, isn't it bad enough that his body is pink? I always felt bad for him.

I like pink on all the female ponies although I have to say I have never seen a Kisscurl with pink hair! Maybe TAffeta can post a pic. There's just something about that color pink when it's brand new-out-of-the-box.

I have an Italian Lickety Split with white hair and she looks great. I have one with pink hair, too, but I´ll keep both ponies.

wow.. looks like I picked a good topic. I expected two or three replies!

My Yoyo has very faint pink hair. Rosedust has BRIGHT pink.. and the SS Wind Whistler that I just got is so pink that you could lose a flamingo in her hair. Too bad she has so many pieces of flocking loss, lol.


My NSS Wind Whistler though.. I didn't really think before saying "pure white." Actually her forelock and 1/3 of the regular mane are pure white, and the rest of the mane and all of the tail are faintly pink. I think it's a nice effect.

I also have two Raincurls (one being prepped for trade) .. one has a bright pink stripe in the front, and the other is pure white. I've never looked at them together until now, but they look great as a pair. I kinda want to keep both now, but since she's going in the mail tomorrow I'll have to find myself another =)
