Hi Pony Friends,
I have a So Soft pony with the beginnings of tail rust and a head that is very firmly glued on. How do I remove her head to clean up the rust without risking flocking loss from heating up the glue? Any thoughts would be really helpful.
Thank you!

I’m going to assume some heat from a hair dryer won’t affect flocking, but who knows? You could also use a warmed up “scrapbooking scoop tool” and maybe loosen up the glue with that? (read this on MLP Preservation Project). Good luck on your restoration!

I used my heating packs (like a magic bag) on so-softs and big brother ponies.

Thanks! Using a warmed up tool is a great idea! And a hair dryer on low might also do the trick.

Maybe you should get a bait one to practice on? Just a thought so you don't ruin your pony. Other wise try dry heat. Good luck!
Great advice; thanks!
