I got in a lousy car accident this weekend and am in an incredible amount of pain... I had to do something to get outside myself.

*edit* eBay, the freakin' ****s that they are, have said I cannot sell anything for charity unless it goes to one of the charities on THEIR limited list, through THEM, and I am sure they dip into it for some kind of facilitating donation charge. This also prohibits me from gaining the benefit of my employer matching dollar for dollar everything that I contribute to a GOOD charity. So I cannot specify that in my auction, but rest assured, these ponies ARE for charity, and eBay can go shove it.

It could just be a legal thing to cover their *** but i agree it's kinda selfish sounding.

Well, to be fair, I understand why eBay does that. If they allow everyone to put "for charity" then you just know that dishonest sellers are going to scam peopel by keeping all the money themselves--after all, who will know? By requiring the donations to go through MissionFish, they know whatever percent is definitely getting to the charity. (You're right, MissionFish does get a cut: 2.9% of the end price. I don't believe eBay gets anything extra, though.)

It does suck for all the honest sellers, though.

Anyway, it's great that you're listing them! They look gorgeous and I hope they sell high.
