It's a crap shoot with customs. Actual travel time probably falls into your expedited time frame, but customs can take fo-evah. Or customs can take two seconds. :mad:
 
ah that is good info to know for future swaps and stuff :) didn't know the hang-ups with border crossings/customs

I am keeping fingers crossed for everyone to get packages starting TOMORROW (oh, I mean at a more decent hour t-o-d-a-y = hanging out here "early again")
 
Oh good lord, the pacakge I mailed is only in OREGON :wow:. It still has to go halfway across the country:goingcrazy5B15D:

I like having a tracking number but fedex sucks more then the **** post office and is like 3X as expensive
 
i got a note today to pick up a package, it could be ebay... it could be swap package ^_^ we will see! hopefully i can pick it up on thursday

I called or postal service today - they told me that my parcel arrives to the other country at august, 03!! They also told me that this country has no online tracking - so they can't check the actual state of the parcel and only see that it arrives in the country.


I guess the parcel is still at the custom central - our post service also told me that the customs regulations are very strict there and that t can take 2-3 weeks until they give the parcel free...

I'm a bit disconcered now and hope my partner will receive it in the next days!!
If not I will opebn a claim by the end of the week to find out more.

Hopefully it go on a bit faster now!

Don't worry about it Zaradess. I know the country you sent to is tough with customs. The last swap I ran that had someone from that country took well over a month to have the package be delivered. We thought it was lost or something had happened but it ended up showing up. Hopefully it won't be much longer till your partner gets it!
 
ok i checked the post office today, but they said it wasn't there. so i gotta check the other post office and see if it is there. i am afraid they have messed up and sent it back cause the note was frm 3rd of august and i got it 2 days ago. so i will see tomorrow at the other place and see :p i don't know if it's the swap box, but we will see

OK all I can say at this point is that all the variety of postal services involved must be saving

THE BEST 3 packages FOR LAST :) (keep thinking = good things come to those who wait)

hang in there everyone! and I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that packages arrive soon!!
 
I really hope it is floating around and they have not sent it back but I guess then we will know where it is. *keeping my fingers crossed for you guys*
